I'd like to see it in arcs if they are going to do it smart, simply following the girls arcs is not going to cut it, i'd like more info about the twins past in the meantime, understanding Sora more, seeing her evolve more, it could be very interesting if the arcs would unravel more and more about them.

well I wouldn't worry that much. It's kinda interesting since you can have a sorta of a harem anime and not going in a Tenchi Solution with all the girls

Having arcs completely destroys any character development or story that this anime was developing.

really? I think the series manage to give a good glimpse out of each character.

I would also believe that different situations might bring different character developments. Tbh, I would wait to the end of the series to criticize it in full.

Amagami has done the same thing, you can see how things are going to turn out.  I had high expectations for this as well, it's exactly as you say it is, a glimpse of each character.  You never "really" get to know any of the characters well.

I don't feel that it's as shallow as one might think, but then again, who knows. maybe you can get to know each character better even in an arc that does not relate to them.

anyways, putting this one aside, I would like to open the discussion on why

Your quote broke, and I think that the groping was censored so that a younger audience could watch it.  Maybe they get better airing times, who knows.

The problem this multiple arcs for different endings, is that...

(1. The people making the anime are trying way to hard to please everyone.  They figure that everyone has different favorites from the VN, so if they choose one route they screw over the other fans.  This doesn't work, as they're all going to be pissed that their long awaited anime adaptation is so unfocused and all over the place.

(2. The series is already pretty short at 13 episodes.  Cutting those 13 up into 2-4 episode arcs for specific heroines, each segment lacks any time to develop attachment to a character.  Also, no one cares what happens to the other heroines, since they'll all get a chance to be with him eventually.

(3. The anime is NOT a hentai, therefore there is no nudity.  People play all the arcs with at LEAST a secondary goal of seeing all the heroines in various naked positions.  This is why there ARE multiple routes, and not just one, so you can appease people of all tastes.

Id be pleased with him getting all of em. . .in the same arc. . .no BS restarts!
thats for pussies!
this guy FAILED and dropped UM (university of makoto)

still I dont know how they got from the festival to her room. . .and how explicit that scene was. . .Im not complaining but hey. . .I was expecting something a little bit more serious. . .

and look at this, is this the "arcs"?

I always skip the end songs but I watched it :P and saw that

If I had to rank them from favorite to least so far, I'd go
(1. Sora
(2. The maid
(3. Akira
(4. Akira's rich sister who's so uninteresting I don't know her name
(5. Those other two who are particularly uninteresting
(6. Kotonoha   ;D

it was explicit enough.

I would say "borderline-Aki Sora" explicit, which is quite risque, even for a late night show.

tbh if it's going this way, by the time we reach Sora's arc, it'll probably be at the same level, if not, more explicit.

According to wikipedia, that looks to be it.  Nice find.

I'm probably looking forward to the Sora route and the Maid route the most, but the others look ok-ish.

so they're planning an Amagami SS with 3 episodes per girl? or less. . .?

I hope this works out better than Amagami, coz I didn't like that show all that much and this show seems to at least have a bit of potential.

it looks like 4 episodes per girl actually like with Amagami SS, it's not a bad idea to be honest, it's far better actually than having a show about a lot of girls trying to seduce one guys and at the end none is chosen and you have to wait for a potential season 2 and so on, in the meantime you start developing sympathy for one girl and the choice the director makes pisses you off, it's actually better for our health :)

Great EP though, seems like it's going to be fairly entertaining :)

indeed.

as I said above, this way is much better than any sort of "Tenchi Solution"-type of ending.

also with the girl arcs, more attention is around one girl where you can get to know her better than normally you would do, the focus on one girl per arc is enough to make people to know the girl alone and decide whether or not to like her, a lot of people like Sae cuz she is cute, but the arc sucked ballz so she lost points. now for instance all arcs can be great but Sora's arc might suck balls, I like Sora already, and i might lose it then, i didn't play the game yet so dunno.

on topic though i would like to say Sora is amazing, Haru just dumped her, kind of, and she took it like a sister actually. she changed from romantic love into sibling love. at least that is my impression, she didn't like it though, but what can she do ?
