corrected. he is a douche. the entire time he hasn't really properly accepting anything. he doesn't accept the girl, and doesnt treat her properly. he's just like most harem-type guys. either there too shy and never make a decision till the last episode. or there dick heads, until the last episode.
all i want is a character who handles his situation well, whilst treating the pretty girls around him right. not to mention his whole "i live in the game world" shit he keeps saying. "real world women aren't good enough" etc. etc. thats lame to me. the guys that say things like that dont get any,ever and thats why they live in the game world! not the other way around.
all and all, im just tired of anime with weak ass lead male characters. (see the drugs and alcohol request thread, heres a link. not pussies)
And if you're talking about Elsee... She appeared out of nowhere and because of her misunderstanding she pretty much destroyed his life by making him sign the contract (that didn't really looked like contract) and now he has to help her or he will die. Moreover she is a klutz, know nothing about real world and gives him trouble all the time. She also destroyed his family by saying she is illegitimate child of his father (which may be and probably is funny for us but if you think about it, it wasn't nice). The fact she is cute or adorable doesn't make her actions any less problematic.
And he gives results where you need them, he is intelligent and makes resonable arguments as to why he acts like he acts. He is unsociable and hates real women. Situation he is in right now is like one of the worst possible situations he can face. It's normal he won't be happy about this, it doesn't make him dickhead.
If you don't like characters like that (eg you are jelous that someone who doesn't want to or is a pussy gets all the chicks) go watch something else.
oh yeah and im basically an otaku, i dont have a job (just finished school) not in college till jan, and all i do is watch anime and play games (and other things with friends on weekends)
okay let me rephrase. he doesnt have to want pussy, that really isn't the case. I just think a little differently. when she told my mom that she was my dads illegitimate child. i would've told my mom something completely different to make sure my family stayed together i wouldn't have just let that go, he didnt really try to fix that. shit randomly springs up in your life, but how you choose to handle it makes all the difference.
and i said the only parts of the show that are really worth watching are the parts when he's scheduling girls. if he
didn't then i probably wouldnt watch it. and the part about his problems being problematic..he just basically got a 'battle royale' necklace and all he has to do is finish setting up girls not kill his best friends. even in reality, that's a whole lot nicer. it's good he has some motivation to pursue REAL women.
other then his family she hasn't caused any real problems that he couldn't fix ina few minutes. i mean damn, its not about him being happy about his situation, but just persevere and relax not get angry that doesn't solve problems.
which in his case he is good at doing, that's why the show is watchable. he's not completely stupid. i guess what really irritates me about the character is 'He's un-sociable and doesn't like real world women" ive even met a few people in real life who thought like that (although they were into loli, not real women) to me, people like that generally don't think to far ahead which why his character is basically an oxymoron. anyway im not going to build to big of a wall.
i just think he's a smart asshole who i cant relate too, too much because he's un-sociable and doesn't like real women (so he says) that's it.
