Just a few days left till it starts but damn, I am anxious for it.

I've seen several people mention the manga for this is great, and say they were hot to trot for the anime... really i gotta ask: why? I didn't read the manga but it doesn't sound very good, and the main character looks like a nerdy douche. Is there something im missing?

So I was just curious if it was ever subbed or not.

It was announced on ANN, never heard of a anime getting a second season when the first is yet to air.(Kimi ni Todoke S2 has been announced aswell btw)

Him being a nerdy douche is kind of the point. It's basically a huge parody of all of the typical stereotypes seen in galge or harem type anime/manga.
