I think my ratio is wrong.
« on: October 05, 2010, 07:52:55 AM »
Hi, I was trying to finish downloading a series, and then I noticed nothing would download anymore, so I checked and it said I was warned, I figured this might happen since I just can't connect to anyone with so many seeders and the stuff I downloaded had low leechers, so I got my Hokuto No Ken from my dvds and started upping that, but I can't connect to anyone, so I started wondering what my total download was cause I never even really started some of the stuff I was going to download, like 30 mb and I turned it off not finishing it and my total was more around 16-17gb, not 25 GBs.

I did a first week of being warned uploading what I could to put my rating up, even if it only goes at 1kbps :(

I did spike it up a lot. I'm using uTorrent. 2.0.4, if that could be the problem? Should i switch back to an earlier version or get another torrent software to see if that helps my upload speed?

Intriguing. Adding it up quickly in my head got me ~17-18GB, though I have no idea how this error could emerge. uTorrent 2.04 works fine, I've had no issues nor heard of any emerging. If you're on another private tracker, is this a problem there too or only here?

seems to be only here.

But luckily my UL speed is getting a bit faster, so I was able to get another 500 mb in there tonight.

i don't quite understand how you came to the conclusion that your ratio is wrong. aside from that your gut feeling seems to be:
... my total was more around 16-17gb, not 25 GBs.
as i can't believe you remember everything you downloaded in a timespan of 1 year and seven month that's not really worth much though.

If you add up everything in his seeding and inactive lists, it doesn't add up. I was under the assumption that it logged all activity? (with a margin for error ofc)

Because some of those torrents might have been swapped or removed (which would reset/remove individual stats, but not the overall)

they couldn't have been changed, cause I'm using the same downloaded stuff from where I left them before being warned from long ago and the stats seem to be right.

and a few of the stuff in my torrent list are stuff I had from other places but I got the torrent from here to seed it.

Air master I only downloaded part of the file cause I had the rest of the episodes already and I just needed the other half.

There may have been something removed, I don't know if it would still show up on my list, but I can't remember what I would have downloaded from 2 years ago that could have been.

Doesn't matter that much, I'm going to keep seeding to put it back up, I just found it weird, cause I don't download a lot of stuff all the time, just once in a while, I get crappy bandwidth on my ISP. Planning on switching from DSL to Cable soon, another company finally came into town with 30MBPS and 2 Upload speeds with 250 gb of bandwidth.

All for the same price I'm paying now for only 5mbps and 512kbps upload and 20 gb bandwidth :(

I just have to wait for the guy to come install the new cables. 2-4 weeks! ARGHH!
