Are kanji-only song titles allowed?

(1/3) > >>

Behonkiss:
I'm planning to upload a soundtrack rip that I'm doing, but the CDDB results give all but one of the song titles in kanji only, and only a few could be translated successfully through Babelfish.  Would I be allowed to upload all the songs in kanji only, or do I need to have them in English or the Japanese words written with the English alphabet?  If the latter, is there any way I can get help with it?

Al_Sleeper:
Ask Southrop for help.

blubart:
kanji would be fine too - though i personally would prefer romaji.
english translations only if they are official.

Would this count?  Seems pretty accurate.

Southrop:
No.

When we say Official, we mean that they were released using an English name. That means the English name should be listed somewhere on the CD Jacket or booklet. Otherwise, it is best to leave the names in Japanese. If you know how to read kanji VERY VERY WELL (THIS IS IMPORTANT) then you may transliterate to romaji. Otherwise, it will probably be more accurate to leave it in kanji.
