Medal of Honor Xbox 360
« on: October 06, 2010, 02:04:22 AM »
I am wondering if anyone has playing the PC beta of Metal of Honor(multiplayer) and have played Battlefield Bad Company 2 for Xbox360.

I am wondering if the gameplay mechanics are similar like does it play the same as BF-BC2.

Still deciding whether to pre-order it or not. I love BF-BC2 so if they play the same will get it for sure.

The game is excellent.  Carries a Battlefield 2 feel with CQB action as well.

Its ok...but really, for close quarter twitch FPS, Black OPs will be probably be better. Where as BFBC2 is completely different to either gameplay wise...i'd play Black OPs and BFBC2 if i was you...for the best of both worlds so to speak.

It's not twitch close quarters like COD where reaction time wins, it's more positioning and tactics.  If you get a team going with people you now it's much more fun.

I played it last night (just before the Open Beta ended!), and it felt really different to Modern Warfare, perhaps more realistic. It took some time before I got some killing done though..

I don't have it, but I played beta at a friend's place.
I rather liked it, it was slightly more old school shooting than BBC, and better type of close quarters than CoD. I dunno why but it reminded me of Halo 2 a bit, anyone else feel this?
There must a be a reason for tanking things. And all must be in certain balance.
But what that balance is, must depend only on you, nobody else.

Since you play BFBC2, how does the "skill level" in the leaderboards work? i've played BFBC2 for 2hours on my xbox, and my skill level is 190, which is higher then all my friends...and it seems to be capped at 200? so how does it work 190 out lol.

Im not 100% sure all i really know is 200 is the best. I usually maintain a 200 skill lvl and i have a 1.98 KD:R with about 90hours play time. 190 isn't bad i know my friends are usually around 150ish.

Minus a few bugs in the game this is the best FPS multi-player i've played.

Skill level is broken.  I've had my skill level drop to 0, then the next day it's at 200.  No idea WTF is going on.  I don't suck either.

What kind of score per minute are you guys getting?  Is 317.30 good?

Picked it up yesternight, so far game play is decent i miss prone from tye cod series.
Maps that ive played on s&d are ok there is like onw that is kinda good. Havent had the time to play to much sin'e i had to be up at 530 today and xidnt get the game installed till like 9.
So the lack of recoil while ironsighted hopefully gets fixed. There just isnt any which makes bad players think they are much better.

Ill edit post after i get more face time tonight
