anyway im with Lord of Fire. I was unimpressed with FFFpeeps and their work on mitsudomo for the bit i watched. For this show i was comparing them and underwater. Both have hits and misses. FFFpeeps completely ignores all the degeso stuff and silly squid puns. Underwaters CR rips seem to do them all but is just off in some parts. Plus no ED sub. Honorifics aren't that big of a deal for me, but the little geso stuff kinda is.
what i really dislike about FFFpeeps other than skipping all the geso stuff, is that they dont even have consistency with her name. In ep 01 it was just squid girl, then in ep 02 it was Ika musume. They actually had a poll on their site about whether to do the geso stuff and people overwhelmingly voted yes and then they still said they wont do it =P why the hell would you put a poll up if it didnt' matter? I duno they seem like they just like to troll. I find the name change strange too when they dont use any honorifics and ignore the geso stuff.. why would you suddenly leave the name untranslated other than to screw with people? Witht heir other choices youd think they would leave it squid girl

Just give it some time and you will find some h-doujins involving her "hair."
Anyway, I have been surprised at how much I like this show. I was planning to just check out the first ep then archive it for a marathon viewing later but, it turns out that its worthy of actually following.

im gonna keep watching it as it comes out too. My only problem is picking a group. FFFpeeps is actually pretty decent other than their fudge up with the icecream int he first ep. But the fact that they're completely ignoring the geso and cheap puns makes me wonder why they even picked the show. they flat out said they were stupid and they dont want to do them... why sub the friggins how then o_O Uunderwater is ok but seems to go a bit too far with the squidly puns. I.e. the preview seemed to make no real sense. there were no geso's in it but they changed it all up
Anyway, as far as the show goes, its pretty damn funny, im liking it quite a bit. I gotta check out the manga since someone mentioned it but i't seems like this is probably a 4-koma style gag manga from the presentation here. Ala yandere kanojo or SYD. I like the animation style a lot.
BTW, was anyone else surprised at how ripped Gorou was? You usually dont get guys that cut in anime unless your watching fist of the north star or something, lol.
