Tru story: My wow account
« on: October 07, 2010, 06:35:24 AM »
So I finally after 5 years was able to unlock my WoW account since it was locked due to . . .

so 5 years ago (or 6?) WoW came out, and a young boy (Aka Gogeta) preordered wow's collectors edition. and he got it. he was a young padawan and made up all the credit card information that you need to register (why da fuck? Im using prepaids).

years passed, 3rd person to reach lvl 60 on my server, first party to finish shadowfang keep, first shaman with an earthfury set piece. . .good stuff.

One night, after a good ol' party filled with alcohol including but not limited to beer shotgun, bacardi rum and coke and tekila. Mr. Gogeta decided to play WoW at around  4 AM. as he logged in he thought "dude my password is so fkin easy! someone is gonna hack my account soon!"
so he decided to change his password to who knows what. . .

well. . .who knows what?
he didnt remember the next morning. . .not a clue! so he contacted customer service, which in return for the password required the credit card information. well I had no fking clue what I made up in that information. so I told them "you know what bro. . .i have no clue"
they said "well give us th enumber of the last prepaid card you used" I mean. . .who da fuck keeps the cards for more than a week?
. . .so that was that

5 or 6 years passed and I recovered my account :)
yay!
but I dont play anymore. . .so Im thinking of selling my whole Bnet account, which includes but is not limited to Starcraft II and WoW Collectors edition account.

anyone has good alcohol related stories?

A good alcohol related story? well I quite a few but lets see....
Maybe 7 years ago (while I was still too young to drink legally) I was at a party with a bunch of friends, completely hammered. He had a tree fort in his back yard and for some reason I will never understand I climbed it then thought it would just be ooh so hilarious to take a shit down the hole where the stairs were.. I ended up falling instead of shitting and as I wasnt wearing a shirt I took a rusty nail all the way up the length of my back, from ass-cheek to shoulder... I still have that scar.  Then after I landed I was in an awkward position and due to the way the thing was built I was also stuck. I was in no condition to move and no one was able to get me out. I ended up needing to be cut out with a saw.

Ive got into some pretty fucked up situations due to over indulgence in my time. Fell into a few lakes, fell of a few bikes and skateboards. Fell asleep half naked on the stairs. Got into a fight with a scarecrow on Halloween then fell asleep on some guys driveway. Locked myself out of the house wearing nothing but underwear in the middle of winter. Made a complete ass of myself countless times.
And to make matters worse those are ust some of the ones that I am not too embarrassed to speak of.

I think of all this and then wonder why I haven't stopped yet. (I have however reduced my intake drastically. Id prolly be dead if I kept going at the pace I did back then)

My friends and I were drinking somewhere downtown.

A couple hours after, my friend was like, "enough man, you're hammered already."

Me, thinking he's too manly too get hammered with just that, "I'm not hammered yet. I'll even do a cartwheel for you."

I did a cartwheel perfectly fine, but of course I'm not satisfied with that.

I decided to do another cartwheel, but this time on the ledge of a fountain.

Obviously, I fell in the freezing water...

On another occasion, I don't know how, but when I woke up the next day, my whole body was completely shaved.

Alcohol related story?? Dunno if you think that this is good...

My 1st time drinking, I was 14.
!
I decided to watch the Texas Cahinsaw Mascare. I took the DVD out of the shelf, dropped it (it has metal covers) to a wooden japanese styled desk, it made a loud noice and the woman who was sitting close hit my head while I was laughing. Then I watched it for a 30 minutes and said "dude, I'm too drunk to watch this, I can't concentrate, I'll watch this sometime later. Now let me play Left 4 Dead". Well you can prolly guess what happens next :P 1st scenario, first part. In the starting room, I spent 15 minutes to choose the weapon and another 15 minutes to open the door... then I went down the stairs and wiped killed all the zombies from it, I had only one magazine of bullets left, you gonna hear the reason, I used waaay too much bullets when shooting the waal and shouting "Reload! Reload!!!" Well, then I repeated that few times while playing about 1 hour and 30 minutes... Also I The beer went out and during that and I started to drink brandy... I drank the whole 0,5l of 45% brandy... then the only thing I had left was half bottle of Coffee liquer... Idrank it then I asked that "do we have anything to drink anymore?" (or something likev that) mycousin toldme that I had drunk it all already... Then Isaid okey and started to read manga... I started drinking about 10PM and stopped about 2AM Then I went to sleep at 6 AM... Also, I annoyed the others who were there (I was the only one drinking, and I was the last one to go to sleep)

How stupid can I be... I f*cking played L4D and shouted Reload... atthe next day I only remberd parts of the things I did and couldn't remeber anything I had said... I talkedv with my cousin and he told me the things so I could remember them better... What a fail night...

1- GoGeTa, If you sell your account I'm calling Blizzard, why would I do that ?

I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF NOOBS PLAYING EBAY TOONS/ACCOUNTS !

if you don't want it, contact blizzard to erase it, don't contribute to the shit please!

2- my alcohol related story.

I'll say it out at the very beginning, it was pure luck in it's finest, really, I am not that good.

I was with friends at a club that had the cue pool and a lot of neat games, we been playing pool for like 3-4 hours already at one table, smoke from cigarettes, typical music, and us in High School Uniforms all smashed with alcohol :)

after a while some dudes approached us and wanted a bet game in pool, we bet in total what would be around 400 euros, that one single game cost me 3 hours of sobering up during a serious game, could not take it and kept drinking,

by the end of the game I was barely seeing at all, it was all floating and blurry, but I won the bet, I won the game, the bastards wanted their money back, thought they would just take it from me since I was all smashed up already,

but NOOO! the barkeep called a few customers by names and they kicked them out, I was stashed with cash, smashed with booze, and two beautiful girls from my class helped me back home, they even talked my mom not to get angry at me,

the next day they told me what happened at the bar and I was the story of the week, only teachers didn't know anything, had a hard talk with the principal as she saw us when the girls were helping me back home from her car,

the girls told me I was pretty much walking on my own, but they wanted to help me cuz they were worried about me that I would hurt myself, sweet girls,

after a week when we came back to the bar I went and apologized to the barkeep for causing trouble earlier, he said I shouldn't worry about it, told me something in secret,

I was supposed never to talk to anyone about that, but one of the girls smelled trouble midway game and she asked the barkeep to keep an eye on the guys, he had a lot of time to get a few guys ready for call in case of trouble, I ended up talking alone with that girl later on and we ended up together for 2 next years, she left the country after graduation :)

btw, I never had a hangover harder than just thirst :)

Blizzard won't erase anything.  I made the mistake of merging my old WoW account (inactive since December 2008) with the new Battlenet account I created a month or two before I bought SC2.  Then a little over a month ago, my WoW account got hacked.  (Pretty odd since 1) my PC is and has been thoroughly virus free, 2) I’ve never shared my login info with anyone, and 3) that particular combination of user name / password I’ve only used one other time, and not on any site that is even remotely related to WoW.)  What’s also odd is that when the account got hacked, they didn’t immediately change my BNet password.

I caught the hack almost immediately – within 4 hours of my roommate seeing my characters online, I had already changed my password, cancelled the account again, and contacted Blizz.  I asked them to just flat out delete all of my characters instead of restoring them, but they refused.  (I should’ve just had them unlock the account then logged in and deleted the characters myself, but oh well.)  At least the WoW account is still locked, so that should be one less temptation against future hacks.
It took an hour to write; I figured it'd take an hour to read.

Actually if you filed a request on paper they would have to give you a serious reason for not doing it (erasing)
they usually store the account data since you are a potential "returner"

also, it could have been a GM checking your account online to investigate, they will not admit it though, we caught one GM doing that once, I called Blizzard A&B support when my friends character showed up suddenly, in Shattrath, I stalked the char and was flying over it for nearly 20 mins, while talking to the A&B support lady, the toon was standing still, then i whispered it saying: "Dear mr/mrs GM, i am currently talking with your boss over the phone, you are to leave that account alone, log out, and report to you supervisor this instant to explain your actions. Thank you for your understanding"

soon after I received a note in mail in-game about what has transpired from the lady I talked with along wit ha rare pet as compensation :) (nothing special, you can buy that pet from some NPC in some lonely place :) ) that GM is no longer working for blizzard though, his actions were illegal, as in, he had no reason to do that, and got caught :)

I have a WoW account but it's been suspended because of "Exploitative Activity: Abuse of the Economy".
I got sick of that game and sold 17K gold for 30$. ;D  I should've sold my account instead to make more money.

But I don't have any drinking stories, I'm way too boring.

I know a guy, he was in my guild until he was banned from WOW, he sold his account filled with 2 chars 277ilvl epic geared toons and 5 other 80 lvl with at least 251 ilvl gear for 2.000$

the buyer there transferred all toons to another realm on his account and rocked for nearly 2 weeks, then he got banned along with the second account of my guildmate, shit happens :)

Drank some rum when i was 8, ended up spraining both of my feet simultaneously. Slept for the rest of the day.

As for my WoW account, could only get trial version, quickly understood the only thing i liked about the game was the battle arenas, grind fails.

I don't understand this thread. People drinking a lot, being stupid, almost dying... It's just like the Hold the elevator thread.

It's all fun and laughs, no biggie, and then when you do die, people are all like "dude deserved a Darwin award, ololol, idiot!"

Also, way to make a general thread on alcohol become a WoW thread.
