I think "rape" in itself is a very bad thing, believe it or not, but even in marriage there is sometimes an incident when the husband "rapes" his wife, and the case is usually lost just because they are married.
But I think if allowed, Incest would simply go out of control, it's best to keep it illegal, and to your own sense of morality and ethics, then in most cases even if some people would find out about it, as long as nothing really bad happened(pregnancy would not be a welcome result) I think most people would just leave it alone.
At least in the Hentai, the incestuous relationships are taking place in a very closed circle, who knows maybe there are actually real cases like that, we might never know.

Hentai isn't the same as real life. To believe so is like saying, "I played Gran Turismo 4 a lot. That means I know a lot about how to drive cars in real life." It's based on realistic principles, but people know that it's not a true representation of what happens in reality.
However, such situations as far as we've been notified, was once done by a user here on bakabt within that user's family. It of course wasn't really verifiable either, but that's what the claims were.

I only meant that in Hentai, the makers of it make it so that it's in a very closed circle, and not spreading around, or at least it's being kept a strict secret from others, so we actually might never learn of how often it really happens, I didn't know about that user claims, I only noticed he stopped posting a long time ago.

Well, I know a lot of people here believe that Japan is full of it, not that I care in anyway.

well, probably because Anime and Hentai come from there, and there are hentai on incest, but that is stereotypical I think,
