Is this about a new anime?
Since there already is an Touhou anime but that was canceled after the first episode or so. Marisa in that anime is really really not like I imagined her, actually she has the opposite personality of what I thought she would had.

Theres been an official anime announced, the one you're thinking about is the Maikaze studio production which was originally labeled Touhou Anime Project but due to ZUN showing some rather negative feedback, was renamed to something like "Touhou Doujin Circle Animation Project" or something lol
This one, the official one, although never really sanctioned by ZUN, he hasn't shown any strong opposition (maybe three years has softened him up?) and this one is being done with Ufotable, in collaboration with the Anime Tenchou essentially.

*Yuto wakes up*
Yuto: ugh, what the hell, I'm playing Imperishable Night and next thing I know I pass out...
*looks around*
Yuto: What the...
Surrounding him was a vast expanse of green vegitation and trees, it was not anything Yuto had seen before. A plethora of unidentifiable plants from mushrooms to strange colored vines.
Yuto: K, what the hell am I doing here, did I take LSD without knowing it or something...
Suddenly Yuto hears shouting and laughing to his left.
Yuto: Huh?
Following his natural instincts, he follows the sound in search of other people and to try and see what exactly was going on. Closing in on the source of the sound, Yuto sees through the now sparser growth of trees and plants, a single small home. The home was nothing extraodinary in terms of size. It was whitewashed, plain tiled roofing and had a small chimney, smoking. Stepping out of the undergrowth surrounding his feet, Yuto walks towards the house and notices that the windows and doors are all open.
???: Haha, you've got to be kidding me! No way I'd do something like that with my Hakkero!
???: You're the one who "accidentally" burnt one of my dolls last week when you were showing off your spellcards...
Perplexed by the conversation, Yuto approached the house. Strangely enough, he knew that he should be cautious as there was no telling on what was inside, but the house radiated a welcoming aura.
Yuto: so... let's see...
Yuto walked up to the door and spoke up.
Yuto: Uhh, excuse me, could you by any chance help me out a little bit here? I seem to have suddenly app-
Before Yuto could finish the sentence, he stared in awe at the two people sitting in front of him.
He knew that he surely must have been on LSD or some other hallucinogen at this point as the sight which he was observing was like a scene straight out of a game. A Touhou game. In front of him sat a girl with black and white clothes with a distinctive, "witch hat" with medium-long, golden-blonde hair. Next to her sat another girl with golden-blonde hair, but with a sort of dress gown of blue with red and white mixed in to create a sort of motherly feel. The two sat at a table in what appeared to be a store of some kind. The one with the hat was fiddling in her hand an octagonal block of wood with intricate carvings made into it. The one with the gown seemed to be knitting, but after a second, Yuto realized that dolls were doing the knitting for her.
Yuto stood with his jaws open for a moment as the two girls in front of him looked at him perplexed.
Marisa: You... a human?
Alice: I would assume so, I've never seen him around before.
Yuto tried to comprehend what he was seeing before him. Surely he was overdosed on drugs to the point that he was experiencing his last dream? Marisa and Alice? From Touhou? The series of games in which he effectively dedicated his life to? Madness!
Yuto: U.. uh... um... uh, uh, c-could you two possibly be Marisa and Alice...?
Marisa: Oh he knows us?
Alice: And who are you? It's impolite to not introduce yourself.
Yuto: U-uh, my deepest apologies.. Uh. well I'm a human... I suppose...
Now he came to a point where he came up with an interesting question for himself. in the one-in-a-milliion chance that this actually were to be Gensoukyo, the land of youkai, youkai hunters, and Yuto's entire life, could he assume what he knew about the land was all true?
Yuto: Well... I might sound like a complete idiot in the next few seconds but bear with me please... Is there something called the Hakurei Border? Is this land called Gensokyo? Do you know Reimu of the Hakurei Shrine? Is this the Magical Forest I'm in right now? If so, is there any chance that there could have been a rip in the Hakurei Border and an outside human to have stumbled in here?
Yuto barraged the two with questions.
Marisa: Whoa whoa whoa, hold on a second, you're telling me you're not from the Human Village?
Yuto: No, if what I know is correct, then I am from the "outside world".
Alice: Well this is interesting, assuming what he says is true, then this could very well be another "incident".
Marisa: Should we go talk to Reimu about this?
Alice: That would seem to be the logical choice
Yuto: Wait, how am I going to get the-
Before Yuto could finish his sentence, Marisa jumped up from her seat and ran forward, dragging Yuto out of the shop-house and suddenly rocketed into the air, Yuto being flailed around relentlessly underneath her.
Did I overdo it...?

This isn't that crossover anime that I saw a trailer for, is it? Because that looked kind of stupid.
A lot of people have done fan projects related to touhou, and there have been a couple anime attempts before. I'm not holding my breath for this.
