I body wash and use shampoo every 2-3 days. I do take light showers about 2 times a day as well.

How I do it? Just simple and regular. The shampoo I use is very expensive. I don't need to pour the chemicals 2 or 4 times every time I need to wash my head. Once, and a size of a dime is enough to cover my entire hair. Uh ... That's about it.

First I shave at the sink using a razor I like the smooth feel over an electric shaver, then i get  in the shower and start with the shampoo. I find myself liking head and shoulders the best it makes my hair so soft and no I dont have dandruff. I bought it once as someone told me it works good to lighten the color if you use it when you dye your hair and have used it ever since, Rinse the shampoo out. I do not shampoo every day I do it every other day, So my hair keeps some of the natural oils its good for it. Then i lather up with with Dove Men+Care Extra Fresh Body and Face Wash good a good lather all over and rinse off. Then I get out and dry off and im done.

HOLY SHI......
PICS OF SIX-PACK PLEASE!

Okay.

(click to show/hide)

I'm pretty sure ... doesn't dry your ... out.

For the guys, I would suggest using an aftershave that contains little or no alcohol because it dries your face and makes you look old.

*is impressed* I wish I could do 1000 crunches :
(on the other hand I've never tried/counted)
also, +1 for the low alcohol aftershave, dry face means itchy face

@halfelite
with regards to facial grooming, I'm still experimenting... although I prefer manual to electric razor.
head and shoulders makes my scalp sting like crazy.
also, it's best to shampoo every time ones hair gets wet(@ Tatsujin) unless you have very soft water in your area (mine is well known for it's hardness)
There must a be a reason for tanking things. And all must be in certain balance.
But what that balance is, must depend only on you, nobody else.

I'm a sleeping person, so first I have to move my ass from the bed, then i go to the kitchen and set the water for a tea, I shave If it's my work day, if not, I check if i don't look like an ass, then usually shave, cuz my morning beard looks crappy, I wash my teeth, step under cold shower, that wakes my up pretty damn effectively, if it's Tuesday of Friday, I only wash my teeth and face and general cleaning, Tuesdays and Fridays are my swimming pool days, usually my days off, after a general wash of my body, I go to the swimming pool, cold shower there awaits :)

in the evenings I just take a shower and wash my hair, i don't change brands frequently, If i find one thats pretty good I try to stick to it, changing brands is also changing chemicals and their doses in the cosmetics, which isn't a very good thing, especially for women.

weird thread.   seriously though lady Tiffanys is pretty packing there- she may actually be able to kick my ass.  lol
one thing though; um your WOW wrestling title belt has gotta go.

i forgo aftershave myself it would tear the fuck out of my face.    i wash my hair separate from the shower personally.  i use garnier?  something or other i think.

Roll out of bed and into bathroom.  Toilet.  Step in shower.  Wash body, then face and hair, possibly multiple times because I'm not really paying attention.  Stumble out.  Shirt, comb hair, shave if I'm not late for something (usually am), pants, etc.

As I said, I don't really pay much attention to the actual showering process.  I'm still half-asleep and usually thinking about how to architect some project (or lately, what I'm going to build in Minecraft).

Currently showering every second day, not being really active right now, so body odor isn't that much of a drama.

Generally shave before I shower, when I shave that is. I use a non-electric shaver, with foam.

I wash my hair first, I have to, it gets oily really quick. If I leave it too long I may have to wash it a few times.

Body is then washed with plain old soap.... umm not really. Imperial Leather bar soap.

Aftershave is almost never applied..... unless I'm going out somewhere 'special'.

Anti-hum roll on is used liberally, just in case....

I believe in taking care of myself. A balanced diet and a rigorous exorcise routine. In the morning if my face is a little puffy I'll put on an icepack while doing my stomach crunches. I can do a thousand now.

After I remove the icepack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower, I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply a herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine.

Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.

Am I the only one who noticed this is a Christian Bale quote from American Psycho?

shower every day, wash my hair every other day, no need to get my hair all dry and unhealthy, I do not want to cut it. Do it when I manage to get out of the bed and wake up....waking up takes time :D
on hair wash day - shampoo wash my hair put in some hair conditioner (something for long hair change it up when so that my hair and skin do not get used to one brand) then body wash (love all these good smelling sower gels currently using this pomegranate & mango one) rinse out the conditioner from hair and wash it off then put on some skin moisturiser, let the hair dry a bit and put in some  leave-in hair conditioner, hand cream (love this hemp one I got), face cream.
on non hair wash day - body wash with some nice shower gel and use skin moisturiser, hand cream, face cream
oh and now and then when I remember my use some face scrubs and body scrubs, but usually I am a bit lazy....

I crawl out from under the computer desk and wince in the glare of the room light.
One of the guards usually notices that I've dragged myself out and turns a fire hose on me.
After I've been swept against the wall and fire hose is turned down, I drag myself back under the computer desk.
It'll suck if they ever soak the computer.

Bleh, I take it when I'm still half asleep so let's see if I can remember

So I usually just stand in the hot water for 5 minutes before I do anything for starters (anyone else find hot water running nice?) and then I scrub my hair with my fingertips/nails for 30 seconds or something (just randomly going in circles, get the entire head) and I rinse, as for shampoo... I just grab whatever's closest to me x.x

Wow, there's a lot of stuff that looks sounds helpful here...
Additional question: Showers... hot or cold?
There must a be a reason for tanking things. And all must be in certain balance.

Depends, sometimes there's nothing better than a refreshing cold shower.
Sometimes you just want to enjoy the warm soothing shower instead.

Because we can!

I just prefer a quick warm shower. I could do with a shower to wake myself up now actually. But there isn't one here. *Yawn*

personally, I can't decide between hot or cold, but for hot I go 40-45C and cold is 30-35C
body temperature showers are boring :-\ (and yes, my shower has a thermostat)

Cold is WHAAAAAAT?

That's a hot shower!
Cold is something around 0-10.
10-18 is middle range.
18-28 is warm.
Over that is hot.

Because we can!

Wow, you want to die?
Cold tap water is about 13 degrees and that is really cold. 0-10 degrees will kill you if you stay in too long lol.
Quote from: Wikipedia
A water temperature of 10 °C (50 °F) often leads to death in one hour, and water temperatures hovering at freezing can lead to death in as little as 15 minutes
Besides I don't believe that your tap water goes below 10 degrees. You live in Finland your cold water line should be insulated to prevent huge temperature drops.
