Bathing...
« on: October 12, 2010, 04:53:21 PM »
So... how do you do it?
I shower, usually everyday, either before 7am or after 5pm
in order, I use face wash, body wash then shampoo
now here's the important bit...
what is the correct method to shampoo? (In B4 Lather rinse repeat)

I lather quite vigorously and rinse front to back, I repeat if I've been swimming (anyone else find chlorine really hard to get out of hair?)
furthermore, any particular brands to recommend?
There must a be a reason for tanking things. And all must be in certain balance.
But what that balance is, must depend only on you, nobody else.

Technically that thread is about when a person takes a shower. This one is about how.
But whatever... another shower thread isn't necessary imo.

I use shampoo only. I always change shampoo brand.

I shampoo, condition and gloss every day unless I'm mega busy.

Facewash first, then bodywash, then hair.

I have John Freida radiant red stuff atm. I'd recommend it if you have dyed red hair :P

a lot of people do that. I also do that. I like to use different shampoo either because one is on sale or just because another one smells good.

I believe in taking care of myself. A balanced diet and a rigorous exorcise routine. In the morning if my face is a little puffy I'll put on an icepack while doing my stomach crunches. I can do a thousand now.

After I remove the icepack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower, I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply a herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine.

Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.

on another note, don't exfoliating gels/creams sting your face a bit?

Finally
a rigorous exorcise routine.

I can't believe someone like this is lurking around baka forums...
And now I feel alienated as the only nerd. q.q

I like to change shampoo mainly because I like changing the smell. A brand new smell turns me on for a few days. =D
Just something random I thought up after reading the question: I don't want the dandruff germs to evolve and be able to withstand my shampoo's killing power!

you should shampoo your hair first. the stuff inside shampoo will clog your pores after you just used your fancy fash wash to open them up.

My routine:
  Warm up
  Apply shampoo
  Rinse
  Apply body wash
  Rinse
Apply conditioner (dunno why I use this, I don't even know what it does but it makes my hair feel soft so yeah xD)
  Rinse
Brush teeth (extra round of brushing)
Use Mouth water (another extra round)
  Shave (if needed)
Pointless warming up until I get sick of it xD
  Out

I'll use whatever shampoo is at hand and don't really care about the brand. Though I find the vanilla/coconut smelling ones especially nice because it smells a bit like ice cream lol xD

I walk to shower, I pour water on myself, I shampoo(starting from hair and beard going down, toes last), I wash the shampoo off with water(same order), I dry myself(same order), I walk out, I shave(or trim), I brush my hair and beard

In the evening, after training

Because we can!

If im right it takes away all the left 'oil' in your hair, so your hair don't feel so sticky.
But it also dry up your hair..
That's wut i tought =3

And I don't have a routine when i shower, i just do wut comes up in my head xD

I'm pretty sure conditioner doesn't dry your hair out.

Okay.

I'm pretty sure ... doesn't dry your ... out.

For the guys, I would suggest using an aftershave that contains little or no alcohol because it dries your face and makes you look old.
