Personally I think I would go for two of these for a 50+ disc raid:

Two of those would be a 180Tb RAID (not counting redundancy, and you do want that..) using 2TB drives.

Let's say that you go for 10 slices of 9 drives for performance reasons, that would be 160Tb. Not bad.

It's not as if the chassi costs a lot when you also have to buy 90x 2Tb drives... :-)
