Is this normal (seeding torrents question)

Sorry, I'm new here, as well as I'm inexperienced with torrenting, so I need a little help "^_^
I had downloaded a 1gb file a couple weeks ago, but never seeded it, so when I came back today to download, the files I selected to download were red (the arrows were red, and the downloads were doing nothing). I assumed because I never seeded what I downloaded that seeding back now would fix this issue. So I began seeding back the file I download, as well as a few other series' I had downloaded from other networks. This is what I got, and it's been like this for about an hour:



Is this normal? For instance, does this just mean that nobody's downloading the file's? If it's that, sorry for asking an obvious question, but if not, I'm curious how to fix it.
