Not those exact words, no. But you certainly did your best to undermine the compliment given

Anyway, some of my work from this month

And the one I'm working on tonight

For some reason your work is starting to remind me of Faith Erin Hicks work, Andu.  :)

First time posting art here in the forum, this is a little sketch I did for New Year...

Very, very nice. Absolutely loving the hair. The only thing I can think of is that the nose and mouth are perhaps a little too low, the distance between the centre point of the eyes and the mouth should be about the same from the tip of the nose.

Because we can!

I think the distance is just right. Amazing work, as usual!

Whoops, I was responding to wrong post. I see now.
I still think the mouth is fine where is, but that nose could be a touch shorter

First shitty amazing drawing. Traced with the Cintiq 22HD Touch. Please blow this fucking thing apart. One hour workload. Thanks.

Tatsu,

Well, as far as I'm concerned, you might as well leave out ''shitty''. It looks pretty awesome. I like its roughness and ''sketchiness''.

^ Thanks. After finding out that Adobe hasn't implemented jack shit for Wacom products now it makes sense why people go to SAI, Corel Painter and other programs out there.

Sketch from Rinne no Lagrange for the next project I’m working on. No idea how to color this thing from inside. I already know how to do it from outside.

Thanks Daijoubu.

And Tatsujin, you really need to work on the line flow. At the moment there's a lot of breakage and uncertainty in the lines. You're on a tablet, mistakes are easy to correct, don't be so cautious.

As for some recent work for me...

Thanks for the advice. Though the style will be different than what you think. There won't be lines of any kind in the final product, if that makes sense.

Oh okay. Second image will not have lines. First image was a sketch and my first try.

What program and brush presets do you use?

I use paper and a pen. :P

To colour I use photoshop or markers. And just the preset hard brush.

What brushes, I mean if you can take screen shots or give me specifications. Have you used SAI or Corel Painter? PhotoShop doesn't support Touch or the Pen Pressure features so I'm avoiding it for now, at least with painting.

I mean literally the brush that comes built in? Brush pallete, top line, completely circular with no blur? I'm not opening photoshop to take a screenshot of that o0

Its a circle. Seriously. I'm sure you can work that much out yourself. You don't need fancy brushes to make a good piece of art.

Part of last nights work.

Annnnd todays update
