Finished the linearts I was doing for a client and cba to colour them yet so I've been working my way through a pile of images I drew earlier in the year instead and have got my markers back out

I would like to see a dynamic pose and a different style from you for a change, get out of your comfort zone. You'll never improve if you draw the same over and over.

I'm not looking to become a comic illustrator or the like. I primarily do fashion and character imagery which is WHY its more static. And I've definitely improved in the last few years. Also, my style is what gets me paid work. Its something thats been developed over years and its not something I'm suddenly about to dump.

Meh, if you want to call it showing off I'll just stop posting. Let the thread die again since no bugger else is posting anyway

No one actually wants you to stop posting kuran, we're all just a tad jealous, but that's normal.

I'm sorry, I'm just not in the best of moods stuck doing photoshop work when I just want to do quick work with my markers.

The "I can assign you things to do because I know better" feel of the initial post just rubbed me up completely the wrong way. As if I DON'T try and push myself and I need some stranger online to tell me what to do. As if I DIDN'T just do 5 weeks worth of life drawing for that reason.

I'm not jelli, but I'd like to see kurandoinu try something different. The thread looks kinda monotone. I didn't mean to agitate you.

I actually kind of agree with kuran. If you'd like to change the look of this thread then do so yourself ^^ There's no such rules for posting here and I think we all should be happy someone as talented as kuran is letting us enjoy her work.

Edit: Out of your "comfortzone" is called comfortzone for a reason; that very reason being that you do not feel comfortable with what you're creating. Which makes it a really hard thing to post for others to judge. Keep posting the work that you're proud of kuran, I greatly enjoy it.

Not tonight as you've actually kept me up in my studio feeling quite grumpy for half an hour longer than I wanted to be here. (As I said, that initial comment REALLY rubbed me up the wrong way) When I remember to scan it I'll share though.

I think Frood did a Hatsune Miku drawing with no eyes long while ago. I know I have it in my computer, but I can't find the post. Was it him or was it someone else?

Oh god, that old man o.O

Anyway, I came here to say that since I got a tablet a few days ago, I was gonna draw myself a signature. I just wanted some suggestions on "what" I should draw. I'm okayish at making stuff (ok, I'm terrible), I just lack innovation and inspiration to begin with. I'll literally sit here for 5 hours, doing bugger all, trying to think of what I should draw, until I pretty much don't do anything and instead go to bed. rinse and repeat next day.

T_T

Anyone got even a simple idea for a guy too lazy to think of one for himself?
