^Your colouring looks really nice.

I just found out about the stabilizer function in sai. It's really great for long strokes. Now I can draw so much better. But it feels like cheating tho.

so I drew hibiki. >.<

I want to stalk you and your drawings, do you have a deviantart account by any chance?

No. I started drawing like 3 weeks ago so I never thought I'd need one before.

I've only posted my drawings here and on twitter so.. maybe I'll make a dA account later. >.>

Krudda's post reminded me: I had to use the pen tool in photoshop to do shit in class a few months ago

I hated the last background to the pic I posted yesterday, so I redid it before I went to bed.

This looks a little better, but I gotta work on the "stars"
I'll do the flipping on webcam so people know it's legit.

I like it. You left the best part in the second pic undone? NOO, you can't do that. How cruel of you. :'(

I like the composition, but the moon is too big for my taste, then again for your sailor moon pics it fits like a charm.

I'd say go with the second one with the first one's colour as the shading. maybe.. >_>

I added inazuma with hibiki. Now I just need to learn how to colour. ~.~

and here's my new dA account, Ray. http://csoo54.deviantart.com/
you can stalk me there if I'd have the will to even keep it updated.. running a dA page is hard.

I'm an amature here. This is my first time drawing anything. (That wasn't traced)
I haven't got a clue how/where I should draw highlights.

Thanks for the suggestion though :P

What are swatches?

Seriously guys, I've never drawn anything before. I have no experience with image editing programs at all and understand nothing about them.
I just learn as I go.

Anyway, final update for the night, I'm calling it a day >.>

What are swatches?

Think of a painter's palette:

You put all the colors in there that you want to frequently use so that way you don't have to find them again. You should have the swatches panel up at the top right in Photoshop. It's easy to add new ones you just click the new button in its panel and then name it and the color you have selected will be added. It's very useful.

Oh I see...
I just save custom colours in my colour selector. I assume it's the exact same thing.
