Well at least you have a digital copy  ;) YAY for backups! by the way, nice pencilling. I might make this into a inked Cel-shaded version. I'm trying to look at this tutorial about cel-shading in photoshop on youtube that I wanted to try. Can I?

i don't get what effect you're trying to achieve here. must just be the lack of details, like flying cherry blossoms of something like that.

What I tried to achieve was Kanade with the wings that are briefly shown in the anime behind the piano. Was my first time even drawing anything like wings, so it doesn't look nearly as well as I had hoped :P

BTW, do you have some references for Kanade with wings? 'Cuz, it's really hard to make these wings correct. I know that Na-Ga's a pro. So It's gonna be hard to mimic if I don't have references...

I have a blog bookmarked with small tutorials on drawing different stuff, but that's mainly using copics when it comes to shading.

Colouring isn't really to my liking, don't have that many markers yet so had to make do with what I had so the colours don't look as good together as I'd like.

The most important one indeed...

Here's some colouring tutorials... Uses Photoshop... All are their first part...

Colouring comics style (might not work for to other styles, but works....)

Cel-shading tutorial. Not too realistic but worked for me...

That's all I can share for now...
