Well, I just wanted to try out this kind of face. So a quick sketch had to be done. Might bother with it eventually but probably not. I like it though. It fits what I wanted to do. Made a few chances after taking this pic but mostly the same. Corrected lip and nose, etc.

Me likey Joonas

Gonna just post my dA account here as I just keep spamming this thread with drawings, easier this way :P http://meandola.deviantart.com/
I update it pretty regularly so there, do as you all see fit :P

Not sure where to put this as we have no general art thread.. but Seeing as it is a digital painting I thought this would be the mos appropriate thread.

It is not spamming since I made this thread so you can post your drawings.

^Sebur, I can change this into General Art Thread :P Since we don't have one. ...and I'll do so.

probably might aswell turn this into an art thread, as it seems to fulfill that purpose by now :P. Looks really cool! What version of PS do you use? As I'm kind of tempted to try digital colouring atleast, and was wondering if PS CS3 can do the same or if I have to get a newer version from somewhere

I'm using CS5, I know people who have painted in cs3, but it's easier to get started in cs5.

^ Which thread would that be?

Well I guess I'll just post this one then, the original LineArt is not by me but by Trinity-In-Rainbows And she gave me permission to colour it. Got 2 more waiting to be coloured.

I like the shading, you should get a tablet and start coloring digitally!

Here's another one I did the other day:

Shading is one of the reasons I wanted to colour the lineart, as I kinda want to be able to apply it better without having to look up refferences and all that stuff all the time >.>

Also, I do intend to try digital colouring and getting a tablet. It's just that I have slightly different priorities atm (laptop is half past dead, so need to get a new one first)

Oh god. I remember back in high school i started drawing, then found out most of my friends were too freakin good at it and gave up in frustration lol

I don't think i was that bad considering my drawing experience was random curves on notebooks. I should have a couple of scans somewhere in my old imageshack account, if only i didn't change 4583645 emails it would be quick to recover them. Let's see...

Hmmm i guess tomorrow i'll skip class and go buy paper and pencil :D
