put a cock (rooster). I find them hard to draw and they're aesthetically pleasing.

Just felt like posting in here since I have to sketch a take on a character from Alice in Wonderland (which I took Alice for simplicity) and give her a look and outfit different than the typical ones for Tech. Theatre.
You don't know how painful it is to have an idea in your mind and not be able to transfer it onto paper even half decently..or maybe you do if you're like me. That's what this girl is for in my class, heh.

lines are far too thick, it's pretty distracting. the shading's great though. and TBH, i can't tell whether that's a girl or a boy.
was it really that hard to make that with graphite?(by graphite, do you mean regular pencil?)

it's a shame for a graphics and media/fine arts student, but i don't know much about the tools of the trade ;_;

comments and crits for the poster, BTW.
