I wanna encode and upload Patlabor 1,2 and Space Adventure Cobra with the Manga UK dubs however I'm still a n00b. Any good tools to extract audio and edit video with?

Track extraction is almost always done with mkvtoolnix.

What platform are you on?

I'm on Windows Vista 32bit mate, I need to trim the footage of Space Adventure Cobra to get the Audio in sync with the video as the one on BakaBT is shorter, Manga version has longer time due to the music credits. Need to trim Patlabor 1 & 2 a bit for the same reason.

Sounds like very troublesome thing you're doing here.

Trimming in general is used in few encoding tools as a "test run" - ie. trim this shat to 20 sec and let me see how does it look like.

My bet would sony vegas, but that's neither free nor guaranteed compatibility with the codec. And re-encoding it is pointless for the sake of quality.

If you're on windows i would say you should get something liek THIS.

Really didn't ever try to do such things, so it's just a shot.
