Two questions ... and a half:

1. The first time you ever used the Internet. When did you use it and what did you think of it?
Back in middle school. I didn't really give a crap about it since I was so deep into Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy Tactics (yes, I shaved 3 years of my life playing nothing and doing nothing but those two games). This was back in 1997 to late of 1999 early 2000.

2. The time of YOUR era in which you became addicted (if you did) to the Internet? What got you addicted to it?
In 2000, I got my very first computer which I never asked for. I was working happily and playing Play Station I and II games. I gave all my checks to my mother for whatever she needed. I needed nothing. Then, she decided to purchase me a computer with all the money I gave to her and so I got my very first computer. Then ... trouble happened ... It was an e-Machines with Windows ME operation system. I won't say how fucking stupid the machine and operating systems were (ridiculously stupid, bad). My uncle got it for me. And so I started doing a lot of terrible things with the computer. I deleted shit from it to make more space (Whomever seen NHK and when the main character deleted stuff from his computer to make more space for Ero pictures, I did the same thing!). I used Napster. Then I got to know AOL and started going on chat rooms and did the A/S/L bullshit and then I came across SiM DBZ (Simulation DBZ Text Fighting) and I still remember how it all went in SiM AOL rooms. I had to go on AOL at night so no one knows I'm on the Internet using the phone line. Our bills went so high because of me. A year later I got my first high speed cable from AOL (crap of course but was godly back then). Then a lot of things happened, internet dating to music to PhotoShop to building websites and until March of 2004, I wondered around Winamp Internet Stations or whatever and got caught by anime ... I remember the stations name and no I won't mention it for privacy matters (the forum is still running and I still post on there, there are only about 15 active members). The very first name I saw was a long time ago around 1998 or 99 and it was called Ghost in the Shell (movie from 1996 I believe). The first anime I saw that got me into Anime and got me seriously addicted to the Internet was Scrapped Princess in March 2004 and it was listed on Winamp to watch. It was hosted by some guy that ran the forum I mentioned earlier. I don't know if he is still hosting stuff like that on Winamp. But that's my whole story about getting addicted.

Oh, by the way. The picture I posted up there is what I really did when I first got into AOL chat rooms and I used to "sneak at night" to log on THE INTERNET! MWAHAHHAHAAH-couGhs-

it was  a bbs  site  run  by a local collage....back in the day before forums  and  all  like ...1987 ...ish..

and my net thing did not get started  till  recently cause we moved to the wilderness  and had jack  for connection till a fiber optic cable was run through  ..oregon decided all schools must have the webz....how else would the kiddies get their porn..

I started using the internet about 4 or 6 years ago some year in Jr High School. About that time I was an online Nintendo Gamer (Nintendo Wifi Connection seemed amazing back then). I usually went to forums or sites that revolved around Nintendo and then starting going to other forums/sites relating to general technology and started making my own sites and stuff.

I don't remember when exactly I first used the internet, but it was likely around 1993 with AOL.
During middle school and high school I spent a lot of time using it to send IMs back and forth with friends and searching for new music/artists. That was one of the best things about the internet for me back then. I finally had an easy way to find music that wasn't the same old bullshit that is always on the radio.

I never use AOL any more but I do still have 2 aol.com email addresses. (that rarely if ever get used either.)
