You might be to young to have every been on a bbs board. Back in the day it was a dial in system then moved to using terminal you could download/upload files, talk to people over private mail or in public multi modem system could host a chat room, play games. Think of it as todays mirc/forums in one with online multi player games.

Sosseres:
1. The first time you ever used the Internet. When did you use it and what did you think of it?

I can't recall, was too long ago, I think it was back prior to the release of windows 95, but it is hard to recall since it was around the time we switched to that. Most likely I used it to gather facts for something.

2. The time of YOUR era in which you became addicted (if you did) to the Internet? What got you addicted to it?

I became addicted to it due to the browser based games. I used to have like 2 hours a day spent on those, minimum. I even had one where I went up in the middle of the night to launch attacks. I probably got addicted to those around 11 years ago and played them for like 4 years. They are responsible for my English, having several hundred game friends on IM clients led to a lot of chatting.

I was only given one instruction by dad, learn to search.

I can't even remember the first time I used the internet. However I do remember sneaking down in the early hours of the day to browse for porn.  :'( Damn dial up.
What got me hooked was probably the games, Runescape and such...porn!
