Gigabit FTTH coming to Canada
Freedom Kira:
Heh, interesting to see how much Australia is suddenly jumping. The AUD jumped in value from about $0.60 to $0.95 USD or so in less than a week recently, and now we see the jump from rivaling Turkey right to nearly the top with Internet speeds.
bloody - You should probably switch to Optik, it's like what, $20? For the same speeds too. But Telus still sucks in the end =P

$.80 to almost $1, and thats over a course of 6 months. Which is bloody quick. Economies don't change THAT rapidly :P I think it's got more to do with the strength of the USD going down than the AUD going up though; the UK has seen a similar rise in the past 6 months (albeit not quite as drastic).

I'm not so sure about that, because I only noticed the jump in AUD compared to CAD, while USD to CAD and GBP to CAD remained about the same.
And I swear the jump happened in a matter of less than a month =P

The Australian dollar has risen, as the Canadian dollar has not made much gain over the american dollar recently.
0.97:1, I believe?
Freedom Kira:
Close enough. But that wasn't the point.
