Gigabit FTTH coming to Canada

One is for gaming/browsing while the other line downloads/seeds torrents.
You don't want to try torrents and gaming at the same time, it doesn't work.

It does work, but for it you need either:
1. A line with fast upload and low latency in general (fiber or LAN).
or
2. A router with QoS. Then you can prioritize game traffic over torrents and have low latency for games. This is how ISPs and business users make VoIP have low latency without having to use a separate line for it.

I have a QOS router. In my area in Toronto, Canada, the base ping (with nothing else running) is already 70, and it goes up to around 120 when I'm torrenting with QOS so it's intolerable.
