MKV compatable DVD Player BS

<< < (5/5)

wizisi2k:
I just looked at the website and the BD570 (no 555C listed sadly) says the following for AVC (h.264):MPEG4 AVC, HP@L4.1 .  If I am right, whatever .mkv's you are grabbing were encoded using high profile and unrestricted.  So yes it does say it suppourts .mkv but whatever group you got whatever you wanna watch on the player from has to have the video re-encoded for playback.  It's either that OR I misread the specs

That way you can cut out the middle man(DVD player).

No offence m8 but you don't sound cut out for messing with video encoding/re-encoding.
Letting frustration rule will not help you achieve your goals.

A. Patience is your friend. Assume it may take a week or so before you have the correct procedures worked out to get
workable content for your player figured out.

B. Don't download 6 million different progs and just keep trying each one.

C. when things don't work its usually for a reason, so don't keep banging your head against the same wall,
instead try work out what maybe going wrong and try something different.

D. Google is your friend, there must be dozens of guides around on how to set encodes up to play in DVD players.
Most good ones go into some detail .... which is a good thing.

Good luck
