Monk's what I want to play as, let me know what you think of him!
Rogue + Paladin. There is no combo points to track of, but on every other odd attack a special animation happens that cleaves away enemies or does something else. Spirit is pretty awesome, too. You can build it to maximum and won't fade away if your out of combat, but I think you gotta be in combat to build it. And then you can disperse it.

Also, this is the best game that utilizes environment and dead bodies to such an extent. Hmm, I don't know how to point this out but I'll start with destruction in environments - lots of cases, where I think I'm not able to destroy that object, is actually destroyable. Lambs on the street for example, or walls, trees, tombstones, grounds as well, fruits, just about anything. Not everything is destructible so keep that in mind.

The second thing I want to point out is the physics. Superb, amazing, very amazing. Even after you kill an enemy or enemies, you can still punish their bodies or explode them or whatever including their gear! The swords, shields, or armor or whatever they had that you see on the ground you CAN still bounce it around. A lot of you played other games and you can tell how flawed the physics is in those games, including Skyrim and Dead Space (as an example). Skyrim does a good job on death physics, but fails when it comes to gravity (just take a body, put it down on a normal slope or hill, and watch it slide off the hill).

In D3, they (either the gamers or developers) call D3's death physics "moon physics" because the bodies feel light when they fly yet somewhat heavy when they land. There were lots of skeletons on the ground that I killed and some were just there from before, I decided to ... well, Leap Attack on top of those bodies to see if something would happen. Barbarians by default in D3 are very brutal in their strength so you can feel and see their blows - when I landed, the swords, shields, bones and bodies like either broke, scattered away or flew off in a distance. I had few bodies fly across towards my screen LOL. It happened about 2 or 3 times in my 5 hour gameplay.

Now what makes you think that I didn't think these things in the environment, including the bodies, weapons and gear would be stilled where they are? Like not destructible or won't move or get blown away from my attacks? You guys know when you play a game you can tell that "that thing over there is movable" or "it's a key to an event" or "an item", right? Well, in D3, you can't tell what-so-ever. Everything is blended so well that it fools you when you think "ah, you can't do anything to it". The animation, colors, where they're located (I had boxes and barrels in a tight spot I thought you can't reach them, but well they were reachable). The only exception to these are two things (so far), first are few obvious treasure chests that have blinking stars around them, or a door or area you could enter for an event or just to explore. That's really about it.

Ah ... what's next, I still gotta level the monk. I went with Demon Hunter for a few levels and now I'm leveling a Wizard. Wizard, as always, the weakest class in the beginning of the game due to the limited amount of attacks you get. Once you get around 16 or 20ish you start getting better magical attacks.

Also, every gear in the game can be equipped by all classes with the exception of certain unique pieces, like Mighty Weapons or Mighty Belts for Barbarians, Wands and Orbs for Wizards, Crossbows and Cloaks for Demon Hunters and so on and forth - there's few more I don't remember. The good thing they did in this game is that you need a freaking weapon to do damage, it doesn't matter if your a Wizard, Monk or Witch Doctor. Gear WILL scale and weapons are important. In D2, it didn't matter so much for casters since they're based off of skill trees - gear did matter but it didn't scale so largely like how the Barbarian's needed gear to be useful.

In D3, if you have a weapon with 3.6 DPS and your a level 20 Wizard, you won't do the damage you think your capable of doing. Weapons matter for every class, so you need moderate or best DPS weapon (with the exception to stats and effects they carry). Most gear also have effects like - 6% damage, 8% damage, more or less. So that type of gear basically reflects across all classes. Physical and Magical are all based off of your class, but the gear with % damage will scale with whatever class you put it on.

Lambs on the street for example, or walls, trees, tombstones, grounds as well, fruits, just about anything. Not everything is destructible so keep that in mind.

It's about time they did this. The isometric hack&slash genre has been stagnantly formulaic for nearly a decade now. Btw, are they still doing that random-dungeon-generation thing that was their trademark? I kinda liked that since it made things more replayable, but I kinda wonder how they could manage to pull it off along with destructible environments.

I never really liked the classes system since I find it too restrictive for customizing my roleplay. So I guess I'm kinda glad that they're finally taking steps to allow us more options when it comes to choosing our gear.

But I got questions:
-Can you hire henchmen like in D2? IF so, how many henchmen can you hire? And can you customize their gear and AI?
-Does it have a dynamic weather system? Does it change from day to night? Are there time constrained quests?
-Do the villagers follow schedules and go to work, eat, and sleep?
-Do different settlements interact with each other? Do they trade or engage in border skirmishes?
-Can you swim, or ride vehicles, or horses?
-I know this might sound silly.. But can your characters jump or climb obstacles?
-Are there insta-kill moves available? Is there enough gore to satisfy guro fans?
-Is there a stealth mode and can you sneak past enemies?
-Are there succubi involved in this game, and are they sexy, uber, and hawt?
-etc..

Anyways, I'm kinda guessing that the answer to most of my questions is probably a "no". But it's been a long time since D2 and I've kinda built up a lot of expectations for the next installment of the series, while hoping that it doesn't just end up as a graphically enhanced rehash of the first 2 games.

Still, the destructible elements and improved physics is probably gonna make playing it worthwhile..

There's 3 henchmen available, you can only have 1 at the time (Enchantress / Scoundrel / Templar) you can change their gear and level them up.

-Are there insta-kill moves available? Is there enough gore to satisfy guro fans?
Bosses have special kill animations and there's also special mobs with special death animations. There's plenty of blood.

-Is there a stealth mode and can you sneak past enemies?
Doubt it, Game is about killing everything that moves :P

-Are there succubi involved in this game, and are they sexy, uber, and hawt?
Haven't seen one but i would love too.

Most of the other questions i assume are a "no", other stuff you can find in here

Game Guide

-Can you hire henchmen like in D2? IF so, how many henchmen can you hire? And can you customize their gear and AI?
Yes, you can hire up to three. An enchantress, a scoundrel, and a Templar.

-Does it have a dynamic weather system? Does it change from day to night? Are there time constrained quests?
I have noticed nothing like that yet. I can't comment on this. There are quests. I have seen no timed quests and Blizzard officially noted there won't be Daily Quests when the game launches but they are considering in the future.

-Do the villagers follow schedules and go to work, eat, and sleep?
No. But if you do quests, things around town change like their speeches, new NPCs appear, new quests emerge, etc.

-Do different settlements interact with each other? Do they trade or engage in border skirmishes?
No. This isn't Skyrim. :P

-Can you swim, or ride vehicles, or horses?
No mentions of any mounts. No mention of characters able to swim, thou' I was able to go deep west of the town to see a boat and an NPC blocking it telling me its not safe to adventure yet. So that should be the place to hit to travel to ACT II. But the water around the boat seemed damn real ... as if its programmed to act real.

-I know this might sound silly.. But can your characters jump or climb obstacles?
Barbarians are able to Leap across things, over stuff and they can jump up or down from heights. This should also apply to the Wizard class. I don't know about the other classes.

-Are there insta-kill moves available? Is there enough gore to satisfy guro fans?
Characters? No. This isn't WoW or any other game. Things don't scale with your level, either. Monsters will scale with how many players are in a game. The more players are in a game the harder the enemies are (more health, stronger attacks, etc). Lots of blood of many kinds. Lots of physics, I know I'm repeating myself about physics - this is the most amazing thing about the game when you start playing it. Everything else separates this game from all other hack and slash games out there. But back to your instant move skills (removing the kills), there will be cool downs on some abilities. There are short cool downs, and the big abilities will have longer cool downs. But worry not, RuneStones make this game freaking awesome ...

-Is there a stealth mode and can you sneak past enemies?
I haven't checked all of Demon Hunter or the Monk's skills yet, so I doubt it.

-Are there succubi involved in this game, and are they sexy, uber, and hawt?
Maybe the Witch Doctor has them, which I will never play or create the class. There are, however, good looking characters in D3 for all you 3D geeks.

I got my beta invite back in November, went crazy, played it a couple times and... yeah, I'm not too thrilled about it.  It's only a beta so I'm watching to see how it pans out, and being a fan, I'm going to get it.  I have high hopes for it but expecting the worse.  If anybody is a beta player it would be cool to game with some of you.  Even though doing King Leoric runs get boring, people don't talk much.

Unless you hear it directly from Blizzard themselves, any date given by any retailer or said persons is obviously incorrect. Just keep track of Diablo Fans website for all the latest information concerning the Diablo world.

No company will say a game will come out in weeks of being announced. It will be months from that. Lets just say Blizzard today says when it's coming out. Most likely it will be in April/May. They would want to tell people ahead of time when to start saving for the game.

I wish they would acquire Hellgate IP and make a better game with the same concept. Diablo is fine, but the concept is overused and there is nothing like sniper rifles to complement swords and magic.
For one thing, Tiff is not on any level what I would call a typical American.  She's not what I would consider a typical person.  I don't know any other genius geneticist anime-fan martial artist marksman model-level beauties, do you?
