Ummm... hello? It was known from the start that HotS will focus on the Zerg.

/facepalm

read again.

They're fail for a game they weren't even directly developing?

I'm guessing you're not much of a Blizzard fan if you put all your stock on SC:Ghost. =/

Er...

You're not counting Brood War in there are you?

Because Heart of the Swarm is still the first SCII expansion. They've always planned on SCII receiving two expansions. The protoss one is presumably coming out after HotS. They've never given any indication they weren't anyway.

Havoc10K:
Starcraft 2 - Wings of Liberty (Game 1)
Starcraft 2 - Wings of Liberty: Heart of the Swarm (Official expansion Pack)
Starcraft 2 - {something about protos} (Game 2)
Starcraft 2 - {Something about zerg} (Game 3, defeating or losing to the Fallen One)

That was how it was supposed to be, now it looks like:
Starcraft 2 - Wings of Liberty (Game 1)
Starcraft 2 - Wings of Liberty: Heart of the Swarm (Game 2)
Starcraft 2 - {something about protos} (Game 3 the end.)

As for Starcraft: Ghost. The game was being developed by Blizzzard North only, dumped by Blizzard Corp.
Despite claims that Blizzard always wanted to return to console games development, with only Diablo and Warcraft 2 for PSX out there, I'm pretty sure they miss it.

Tatsujin:
Guys, the heat of this discussion is all about Starcraft talk. Take it to the appropriate thread, please.

Only takes a second to wikipedia it. =/

Again, I don't see how if you were interested in Blizzard you'd be less interested in Diablo 3 than a game they weren't directly developing.

I'm really looking forward to it. Copy pre-purchased (well, WoW Annual Pass.) I'm really loving the builds so far. It's just such a nice change of pace to move away from largely percentage increases on talents/glyphs/whatever they're called.
