10 attempts at logging in failed, as I have said earlier, I'm dropping this shit.

Canada – Pre-order Diablo III, score a sweet steelbook case. I guess we may see this outside of Canada ... hopefully.
Besides that, how was Diablo 3 BETA for those who were able to play it?

I enjoyed it, though I'll admit one of the things I'll like about the full version is not having to farm the skeleton king non-stop when I play it.
The crafting looks pretty interesting, although it definitely seems to encourage having alts; I can't really say how many times I had to craft the same piece over and over and over again because it kept producing an item almost completely worthless to the class I wanted to make it for.
I liked the monk the most, followed by the wizard and the demon hunter. The Demon Hunter was pretty single target focused though, but can't complain about the damage. I'm not sure how the wizard will turn out, kind of felt like the class that you had to see the skills before knowing how they worked. As for the monk, I think they have good mobility, decent passives, a lot of fun skills, and generally contribute pretty well to the group.
Barb was ok. Probably a more damage oriented class than the monk, but I didn't get past 9 so can't really say much about it. Didn't care for the Witch Doctor. The early skills just weren't very fun. Felt very indirect, though after a point I could have just been going about it that way. I also didn't get past 9 with the WD, so can't comment on the later skills. I'm thinking it'll be more entertaining when not everything dies so fast, but the moment it just wasn't for me.

You've played only through the First Act so that's understandable. Things were so much easier to kill early patches and Blizzard received a lot of complains about the First Act on Normal. Blizzard did mention that everything after that, specially in Nightmare, Hell and Inferno the difficulty will be devastating. After more complains, they bumped the health and damage for all monsters in Normal. They do hurt just a tiny bit, but I can't wait to see what's in Nightmare, Hell and Inferno.
Through every Act and through every Difficulty, monsters that look-a-like, for example the Skeletons, will have different gear and because YOUR gear improves from Act to Act and Difficulty to Difficulty, the appearances of the monsters gear also improves visually. Monsters become smarter and more aggressive, they retain extra skills in higher difficulties and get more affixes (Monsters in Inferno suppose to start out with minimum of 4 Affixes in the beginning of Act I and maximum of 7 or 8 affixes in Act IV).
Barbarian will be by far the best tank in D3 if you look at their skills and combine their tactical and defensive. They also buffed their defenses couple of patches ago when they increased the health and damage for monsters in Act I.
