Complete Set preview for all characters in Diablo 3. Don't forget there are Legendaries and special Set items. You can also dye any piece of your armor across ... I believe 20+ different colors (probably 30+?).

Oh, I'd like them in toy form.

Beta Ending Tonight, Inferno Unbeaten, Blue Posts, Portrait Contest Closed, and Curse Roundup.

FFUUCCCKK NOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! BETA ENDING?! ... Gonna play all night non-stop.

Also ... this is getting me really worried about hardcore, so I probably won't start hardcore character right off the bat:

Was anyone in the internal test team able to beat D3 Inferno difficulty?
No

Meh, better to start high than to have early clearing players whining about how there's nothing to do anymore.

Diablo III - End of Days - Commercial TV spot. Oh, you get to see some Arch-Angel Tyrael action (just few seconds). He is so bad ass.

New Skill Video. Pretty awesome stuff. The coolest so far, in my opinion, are Wrath of the Berserker (Barbarian) and whatever the hell that Demon Hunter did with the whirlwind - shooting across everything on the map ... oh, and they turn black. Pretty awesome stuff.

Several Animation Skills, Movement, Ass-styles, Equipment and Voice Acting - Male vs. Female:

Barbarian.
Demon Hunter.
Monk.
Witch Doctor.
Wizard.

Strafe. Looks pretty fun. One thing I really like is that despite it being a crazy random AoE it's always aiming at something in particular, so you're never just spinning and shooting at nothing.

Chakram (which was in the beta, but I didn't level high enough to try) on the other hand looked kinda dumb. The swirly arc just looks irritating. Like "I didn't mean to hit the guy I was targeting anyway." I've heard Energy Twister (also in the beta) has similar issues. Solid damage (Energy Twister does 360% over six, Chakram 150% to anything it hits) mitigated by being a pain in the ass to hit what you want with it.

Maybe in a dense pack. But in the group of six he had, it took six Chakrams to kill six mobs. Runes might change it's usefulness since several of them alter how it moves, though.

Personally more interested in Bola Shot, though the 1 second timer (up to 2 with the right rune) might offset it's usefulness.

The description of the Chakram Shurikan Cloud version reminds me of the assassin's blade shield, which wasn't that bad.

Diablo III: Wrath. Animu anyone?! ... You'll be introduced to the 5 Arch Angels and you'll see Diablo getting his ass kicked.

Now, on-to more serious things:

Battle.net Item Data to be Updated Monday, Jay Wilson Interview, Blue Posts, Opening of the D3 CE. If you are one of the lucky few who pre-ordered Diablo 3 Collector's Edition and don't want to get spoiled with the story, be sure to install the game directly and beat the game on Normal difficulty before looking over the goodies.

Also, there's more talk about the game and Inferno difficulty and how they proceeded to making it extremely hard in game play testings. There is also some loot talk and how each Area has a different set of "Tier" items, so those who played the BETA understand how this works. Inferno also drops special loot specifically for different Acts that won't drop in previous difficulties.

I went in today and paid off my Collector's Edition box. Seems like those who are trying to get the CE are out of look in my area.

A reminder, it's the last ten days to unlock any of the class specific sigils in their weird social media promotion. You don't have to tie it to facebook, but creating a banner and tying it to your battle.net account unlocks the sigil for use in game.

Diablo III Cinematic Screenshots, Results Conference Call, "One of the Chosen", Blue Posts.

... The cosplay at the bottom ... just, ....... wow.
One does not go demon-hunting wearing boots like that.

Yeah they look awfully out of place.

It's too bad it's not limited to just being a cosplay thing; stripper heels are part of the female demon hunter's design. =/

I have to say, that diablofans site is terribly designed if a single slick open 2-3 windows with the exactly same content.

other than that I have no complaints, as for the boots, I'd say, depends on preference :D

I'm not sure I'd argue they look bad or anything (it's obviously a really nice cosplay regardless), just... terribly anachronistic and not really necessary.

High heels as combat outfit is a pretty overdone female wardrobe trope, so it's nothing new, though despite the Monk and Wizard apparently having heels built into their design, they weren't quite so obvious about it.

Maybe, however, it's really hard doing boots for cosplay, they still look good, regardless.

I agree, but I'm not faulting the cosplayer or anything. It's very accurate. The problem is that the heels are part of the design in the first place. Although "problem" might not be the word for it.

"Catastrophically bad choice of footwear" might be more accurate than "problem". High heels are bad for balance, especially so in a combat situation. One misstep can mean a sprained ankle, and then your ass is grass, and the big horny demon brings out its weedwhacker.
