Im stuck on whether to get D3 or GW2, i have not played their prequels either, so can someone tell me what the beta is like?

Two different games both with *likely* heavy online followings. Diablo 3 will have probably a shorter narrative compared to GW2, but the game is more about Grinding to get gear to use in higher difficulties (aka, you would farm Hell to use that equipment in Inferno).

GW2 will be like an MMO with a lot longer of a narrative, but the grinding might get repetitive just like Diablo 3 might. Personally speaking, get Diablo 3 but I'll be getting both. XD

I'm getting both as well.  Neither requires a subscription and there's a gap between the release of D3 and GW2, so I see no reason not to.

Diablo III is the most pre-ordered online game through Amazon, beating both SCII and WoW: Cataclysm. Or you could say -- Diablo III Breaks Amazon's Record for Most Preordered PC Game Ever.

Full List of Achievements, Monster Affixes, Item Affixes, and More, Interviews, Blue Posts.

Diablo III CE open box video inside. HOT DAMN! And, lots of other information you may want to take a look at.

What is Diablo 3?

New scenes and action. New areas revealed ... and holy fucking shit that big ass monster at the very end.

Well, Diablo 3 is happening in 28 hours (will be picking up my game tomorrow in exactly 24 hours). I'll play some Max Payne 3 until 3 am to start playing (or fall asleep).

They unlocked the installer just now, so if you have it preloaded you can have it ready to go for the region appropriate release.

I'll have the game at 12 am and be home by 12:30... I'll have over 2 hours to install the game from the disc. :P

Installed and ready to go. Can't wait to rock the magic missile.

The linear nature of your Euclidean geometry both confounds and befuddles me.

I was looking for Dragon's Dogma videos recently, and I found OXM-UK's videos of it.

This guy has the BEST voice I've ever heard.  I wish I could just hear him reading books and shit to me.

It sucks for people who pre-ordered this through GAME in Australia since they will most likely not recieve the product.
http://www.kotaku.com.au/2012/05/games-administrators-address-diablo-iii-pre-order-situation/

But Blizzard has stepped up and has decided to help the people affected by giving them store credit for thier pre-order payments.

Good Job Blizzard  ;D

At least thats some good news, but it is also the same situation for Max Payne 3 pre-orders.

So, any opinions from people who weren't paid by Blizzard to rate 11/10? Is it like Diablo 2 with new graphic and more classes?

No it's a completely different game from Diablo 2.

I'm only to act 2 so far, so I can't say much, but I enjoy it.

No, it's nothing like Diablo 2, you don't have variety of builds. In many fields, being equally powerful. You get to play on normal to learn your way around, overpower enemies, and go to nightmare and hell to gank more powerful enemies with a party of 4, and then, you still don't get satisfied.

Well, my opinion from what I saw is that it's rolly a good game, but not such a bomb as certain people and magazines say it is. And it's made to test out new model of making money from gaming.

But that part about SP online only "Oh, we did that just so players can enjoy it more, you know. *poker face*" is kinda awkward.
