Consoles are shit for first person shooters.
The only viable option for me really is to use XIM3, which is the best keyboard and mouse adapter for the 360 to date. It completely blows any other adapter out of the water.

Then again your console's are shit is just another opinion since your obviously a PC user..
I would stick to consoles because I bet more of your friends have it for one of them, plus I find a controller easier than a mouse and keyboard.

can't cheat on xbox, therefor i'd rather play xbox over pc any time. Which is why i quit pc fps in the first place

I own both consoles and they're only used for single player games, maybe for the exception when GoW 3 comes out, along with the XIM3.
Yeah more of my friends have them, but I don't care since they're so casual; they play maybe three times a week or less for maybe an hour.
Try playing Quake 3 DeFrag with a controller, you won't get far. Yeah you may find it easier to get used to, but it sucks in the long run. This video pretty much shows what an average pc player using a K&M against just casual players.

Personally, I find that the controls are equal for slower paced games like BFBC or BF1943.
