i was thinking of getting it for the ps3 instead of the 360, because i heard for the ps3 its in 3d, and i thought that might be cool. But all the other CoD i have are on 360, might stick with that.
Getting for PS3 will be a big mistake if you plan on playing online lol.

Hit my first goal of a 3 k/d now, onwards to 4....kinda challenging on 360  :-X

uhh,  no. Just, no.

I'm thinking about buying for either PS3 or Wii or 360.  Which one do you have?

Is K/D really that important? I mean if it's a goal I guess it's cool to set for motivation, but K/D doesn't mean a bunch...unless all you play is TDM and FFA  ::)

Hey, going 30-0 on Nuketown FFA with 18 people is pretty fun. :<  ~1:45 match

PS3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Consoles are shit for first person shooters.

The only viable option for me really is to use XIM3, which is the best keyboard and mouse adapter for the 360 to date.  It completely blows any other adapter out of the water.

Then again your console's are shit is just another opinion since your obviously a PC user..

I would stick to consoles because I bet more of your friends have it for one of them, plus I find a controller easier than a mouse and keyboard.

I own both consoles and they're only used for single player games, maybe for the exception when GoW 3 comes out, along with the XIM3.

Yeah more of my friends have them, but I don't care since they're so casual; they play maybe three times a week or less for maybe an hour.

Try playing Quake 3 DeFrag with a controller, you won't get far.  Yeah you may find it easier to get used to, but it sucks in the long run.  This video pretty much shows what an average pc player using a K&M against just casual players.

Personally, I find that the controls are equal for slower paced games like BFBC or BF1943.

Considering I don't know how many people play Quake on a console, which I know doesn't rival the amount on the PC, I wouldn't play it so there's no reason to worry about that.

^ I bet that's true, but then again more people have the 360.

If someone was even debating on whether to get one or the other (or we're just rambling), I'd find out what your friends have...that's saying you have friends   :-\

Get what most of them have. In general (to me) --> PS3 has better single player games (Sony baby) and the exclusives are what make the console good, but their online isn't nearly as good as the 360's even though you have to pay (360). I doubt money really is a problem to most on here, though. It's around $50 USD a year for Live I think with all their offers.

What kind of hackers? jtagged consoles get banned after 30mins so nobody goes online with them, only cod hacks i know of are symbols and such...whoopie? as apposed to the PC's aimbots, wallhacks and so on which anybody can get hold of.

xbox has aimbots...

when playing at my friends house who has an xbox, I've seen people like set my teams spawn and they get infinite chopper gunners or some shit, i don't know, all i know is I ALWAYS spawned in the same place and there was ALWAYS a chopper gunner firing into it.

Then there was that time a guy had a one hit kill gun... was so fucking bull, one shot and you're dead.

After seeing those I knew I wa never going to own an xbox

No, xbox has no aimbots for black ops, stop talking arse...only jtagged consoles can alter that setting, and you cant use them online without getting banned nearly instantly. (i have a jtagged console, i use it for single player games since i can just download them for free)

and that chopper gunner shit is just a hacked lobby, all the platforms have that (mostly pc because its easier to do on a pc), there normally private matches....you'd be lucky to run into them once a year, perhaps on mw2 you might do now

I heard Xbox 360's version of Black Ops isn't working too well online. That's a shame... cause PS3 version has little problems (except for when Migrating host... which is annoying as hell). So wait... $50 a year for something that doesn't work?!
