Err xbox online is currently perfect since all the patches, just have your search set to local and your good to go, whoever told you otherwise must hate on a console they dont own for no reason....only explanation
you only have to google " xbox vs ps3 black ops" and read a few game site reviews and the blatant truth will slap you in the face

Wait, only local? As in you can only play people within a certain mile radius? And here on PSO... I was playing with all the Mexicans who are all actually... kinda good. I got my ass handed to me a couple of times by some frenchies too. That's right, I got my butt kicked by a bunch of pussyfests... I mean pacifists.
Plus, it's kinda common knowledge that Microsoft only uses one big server for their games, instead of the people's console's hosting the game. Double edged sword, but oh well.

WTF? What is this wizardry?! Either way... I like playing with people I can't understand... makes me feel less guilty when I have Ghost Pro on. XD
