I’m stepping down from my staff position at the end of October 2010.
When I first joined BxT, my main intention was to help old releases get preserved and archived here, since they normally die quite quickly on other public trackers, and are pretty much inaccessible on private trackers. In the past 2+ years, I’ve done some thinking about what I want out of my anime-watching, and how I want to contribute to the anime community (which isn’t the same as the anime industry; I have other ideas about that).
I'm stepping down to focus on improving current old releases that are up on BBT, and to focus on
my own typesetting projects, including but not limited to
light novel translations of interest. And hopefully I’ll get to work on more collaborations with IX and Kiririn.
I’ll still be lurking around on the forums, mostly in the Uploaders’ Forum. I’ll be on Rizon network in any case, in the main chat channel.
To the new staff members, great work taking up the slack, and I’m confident you can handle things by now so I won’t be leaving any words of advice and stuff
