Just use rtorrent, like real men. I doubt you're going to find anything better (￣ー￣)ﾆﾔﾘ

transmission-daemon uses about the same (or maybe even a little less) resources as rtorrent. Also comes with built-in blocklist support, and a webmin interface. I've used both, and rtorrent is much more flexible and powerful, but if all you need to do is download/seed torrents, transmission-daemon is easier to learn & use.
