Secure streaming .flv
paul_vash:
Anyone know of any FREE programs that will support streaming from secure sites. I have looked at a few such as orbital, replay media 4, Jaksta and they either don't have the ability or they want payment.

What do you mean by a secure site?
paul_vash:
I am trying to download cricket matches so I can watch them later but unlike youtube vids they dont just download to a cache on the computer.
I was wrong when I said secure site but it is a secure stream.

Isn't there a firefox plugin to do that? Download manager is one... but there's a lot of them out there. (I used to dl some stuff, but I don't recall which plugin I used and whether it still works in current versions of firefox)

Yea, there are multiple firefox addons that will let you DL flv files from the net.
The one I use (or dont use, but have, not alot of times where I need it) Is called Download Helper.
