usually when utorrent updates it keeps its settings/torrents.
just to be sure, backup all the files in %appdata%\utorrent\, that's where utorrent keeps all the settings and torrent/rss data usually.

I know it usually does, and it did this time as well, it was the last time when it did not do it and it was such pain to gather all the torents again.....
