I added 5 videos on my Youtube channel. I love her android voice. I've been listening to the 3,000 vocaloid songs and picking out the ones I like on Foobar.

Oh yea, Butterfly on My Right Shoulder is another song I like. Actually, I can't pick anymore. I think they're all my favorite! I'm gonna make some more videos ... then sleep.

Maybe it's just me, but their singing is absolutely... horrible. As to be expected from synthetic voices I guess. I just don't understand why this is so big in Japan. Then again, I don't understand Touhou, either. <_<

I went to Imouto picture website thinking there could be about 7 or 10 pages of her pictures, turns out to be 153 pages x 10+ pictures per page! I've clipped some of the concert video and posted it on my YouTube, now I'm trying to build a theme specifically for Vocaloid centering around Miku.

So now I need a chibi picture of her but a clean one (I don't have anymore time since Cata is coming out). Anyone got a picture of her?

... Do what things, like fluctuate like crazy and fail to keep a steady voice for more than a quarter of a second? Just me, but I don't really enjoy that kind of "singing." With proper training, I believe a human could do that as well (or rather, it's easier to just put them through a program that would automatically adjust their voice on the fly). There's also a good reason they don't do that. It doesn't really sound good...

Pretty much. Besides the fact that they can sing at super fast speed, echo their voices and change their tones. I mean there's a bunch of things they're capable of doing. And I never said human singing sucks. It's that humans are not capable of doing what Vocaloid can do. But you do see the difference between you and I?

Besides that, were there different concerts for Vocaloid other than this one? Did they release them in Blu-ray?

Vocaloid allows a range of music that could not be reached before due to endless legal bindings and corrupt marketing.
While it may sound crappy now it will get better as shown in the Corruption Garden PV. Plus it allows anyone to to create their debut anytime without real time constraints.

As I said, I love the character designs and whatnot, but the actual singing just isn't cutting it.

Yea, the transparent screen used by Sony gave it a live feeling - tho up close seemed quite pixelarated...
Animation does seem a lot nicer, but it seems like a step back because of it.
