Or if you don't believe me:

did i read that correctly? Now i don't want any flamewar but i feel this must be corrected.
*clears throat*
CHRISTMAS IS NOT CHRISTIAN.

that aside. I think the reason is because christmas is only one day(dec 25 0:00 -23:59) so "merry christmas" would then become out of place starting dec 26- jan 30. however, december - january AFAIK is considered the "holiday season" internationally so... yeah.

Hmm... seems I learned something new today. Well me being an atheist and never having any interest of where holidays come from I was completely oblivious to this fact. But seriously that is the worst article you could ever point someone to. Where is my tl;dr? lol.
Same goes for Happy New Year then (it being out of place from 1-30 Jan).
Christmas here is 2 days, 25 Dec and 26 Dec xD

Not exactly, when you say Merry Christmas you are technically wishing someone to spend that day merrily, however Happy New Year goes on for whole year, no?

Dunno it just seems weird to me. Because technically you're wishing somebody a happy new year so 2011 would be the "new" year and that works in the final days of December 2010 but when used in January 2011 it just seems off. But w/e I can see your point but it will stay weird for me xD

Duki3003:
No one said it's not strange, New Year stops being new as soon as it starts, that does not however prevent us from wishing it to people who we see/hear later that year (for the first time however).

Ok, offtopicness stops here, keep this thread for banner submissions/criticism/suggestions please.
And someone make me an awesome Kagamin banner, and I have not yet forgiven you K7IA!
