okay finally got time to make one...but I can't decide which bg I like best so I'm uploading all four versions...   any advice on these?

TBH, I don't like this so much since everything is dark and it's hard to see things. Especially the Black Mokona.

Update: i thought it was belldandy from ah my goddess but hiragi pointed out that it doesnt look much like her (so now im in doubt) so i removed character and series info till i get solid evidence its her and thanks to hiragi for pointing it out thanks alot.    
 if anyone knows which character she is please let me know  please and thank you

i like it but are you sure that is Belldandy...doesn't look like her to me.....   maybe it is just me...

TBH, I don't like this so much since everything is dark and it's hard to see things. Especially the Black Mokona.

a good point so i made some adjustments... better? the dark red swirlies didn't work on the color bgs but I think these are more visible now.

Hi guys. This is the first time i even heard about banners and first time making one. I know this sucks but it was fun making one of those. ^^ (Not expecting anything, it's just a tribute to the best romance anime i've ever seen and i thought it would be cool if it would get into the rotation and other people get interested and watch the serie. )

hmm, looks nice, but a few things stated by staff members already, if you can change the merry christmass into Happy Holidays, add a few sparks which I find around that left tree really nice, put them all over the banner (not in high density but a few here and a few there) and add some snowflakes, I think this banner just might qualify into the pull or random holidays banners :)

those light sparks are actually really nice, so Kudos for them :)

as for the picture and the background, if you can mold them together, just change the color of BG to match the picture, add the things I mentioned, or anything else that is typical for winter, it might get really nice :)

 let me do some P.I work and ill get back to you because according to the searches ive done the pic comes out (but you cant trust searches) i did notice that she doesnt have the markings on her face and her hair is lighter ..HMMMM  could it be an altered image? but for now ill modify my post and put unknown till i get more info maybe it isnt even her , and thank you for pointing that that out , and thanks for the compliment

That doesn't help me identify her, but maybe someone else on here can answer. all I can say I don't recall her from any show I've seen, and I don't think it is belldandy...sorry I'm not much help in that area. I haven't seen Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu....

However there was a nice BL pic on that link of yours so thanks..lol. If only it was bigger....*sigh*.I always pay more attention to the boy characters. hehe

I like both of your banners atm, but I would like to ask, if you can make Rika's hair a little darker, to show that the fireworks are in the background, it's really nice, just wondering if you could pull that off, I think it could make it better :)
