Recommend a headset

Ok, so I broke my headphones and instead of buying new ones I decided "Hey why not get a headset instead? I'm sure that microphone would come in handy!"
later I realised that I know literally nothing about headsets and I need help... so what can I get for £20?

suhaib:
Shouldn't this be in the Technology section ?

anyway,
I got my self This headset a year ago
and it has been working without any problem !

I would recommend that one :)

Ah, I should've mentioned that I'll be using my headset primarily for gaming.

I was hoping that I could get ear cups that fit over the ear rather than sit on them so those seem a little too small

Steelseries Siberia Neckband Gaming Stereo Headset W/ Retractable Microphone for PC / XBox 360 White? But it might be a bit higher than 20.

For that price though, Sony has a few you can probably connect to a pc headphone slot or your home theatre system via a jack. There aren't too many good "ear muff/tin can" styles for only 20 quid.

Then I shall edit!

VVV

Yes, for about 20 quid, you won't get much of anything with decent quality. There's probably a few, but those are few and far in between. Sony is probably the best bet for something around that price, but there's possibly some solutions out there as well. My brother bought Senheiser HD 555 for about 105 CAD or about 50 quid because it was open box. Someone probably just didn't think their purchase through and thus, my brother got a nice 80 dollars off a perfectly good pair of sens.

Try looking around for open box stuff on online retailer websites or even in electronic stores. Most times they're perfectly fine. Worst case scenario, they're fucked. No problem, warranty will likely give you a brand new one for free.

I've been looking at Steelseries, but they are a bit too expensive. however I think you're right in that I will probably have to spend more than £20...
also, don't post again... it'll ruin your post count
