Recommend a headset

If you are at big LANs then a table mic won't work. It will pick up too much of the surrounding noise. At least mine did at DH and birdie.

I've only recently got a decent computer so I may or may not get into LANs... what about a mic array? Would that be a good alternative to a dektop mic?
(my uncle has one, two for his voice and another to pick up ambient noise to cancel from the main feed. He uses it for recording purposes like dictation, voice overs and making his own audio books which he often sells)

Something like that might work if you can find software support for it in your voice service of choice. The cost for that though...

they are expensive tho.
logitec has some nice ones too.
