Assassins Creed : Brotherhood
« on: November 18, 2010, 01:49:30 AM »
I've only played multiplayer thus far, but I have to say, it's really fun.

Manhunt mode is great, its 4v4 where there's the hunters and the hunted, and hunted can't fight hunters unless the hunters like make themselves obvious.

It's really fun.

Just a warning to anyone thinking about getting it; you might want to wait if you care about achievements or trophies.

The game is glitched such that they don't work for a large amount of people.

In multiplayer it's not so big a deal, because you can just get them later.

But for single player, if say, your sequence 4 trophy doesn't load...you have to play through the whole game through sequence 4 and hope it does, since the game is an auto-save affair, like the previous one.

Delicious. I would get this purely for the multiplayer probably. To me it sounds like another game for the 4v4 L4D teams.

Yeah, if you can coordinate with your other 3, you have a huge advantage.

It's more about not letting them find you to begin with.

Find a crowd to blend into and use disguise.

Find a lookalike near a bale of hay and hide in the hay, when they stab the fake you knock them out.

Use smoke bombs to disorient them to knock them out and run.

Use morph to turn the people around you into lookalikes and fuck them up when they approach you.

Or if you have friends, stick near each other so you can knock the enemy out when they approach your bud.

Friendly heads up:

Apparently this game will be $40 on Amazon tomorrow if anyone is interested.  If I had to guess, it'll likely be a lightning deal.  I know I'll be checking. :D

I'd get it for PS3 but I'd rather wait a year and run it on higher settings on my laptop  ;)

i understand that this is what is the current functionality of the game however you still need to hunt your target so not being able to actually defend yourself in the game means when you kill your target if the person hunting you is anywhere near you you are fucked cuz they saw you do it.

Watched it happen a couple times. And adding some sort of ability to defend yourself would make sense since your taking on, ooooooo say i dunno TRAINED FUCKING ASSASSINS.

Well, Amazon either lied on their twitter or mixed up the dates(maybe tomorrow?) for this game.  The lightning deal is $50, what a joke.

Edit: well its lol @ amazon time.  They switched the price to 39.99 in the middle of the lightning deal(people who ordered it prior are gonna be pissed) and its still available.  You may have to jump through some support hoops though as there seems to be issues with amazon itself accounting for the lightning deal and charging you the correct price.  Took me about 5 minutes for them to fix it from $54 to $40.

In multiplayer it's not so big a deal, because you can just get them later.

But for single player, if say, your sequence 4 trophy doesn't load...you have to play through the whole game through sequence 4 and hope it does, since the game is an auto-save affair, like the previous one.

is that problem for xbox only?

Not a chance I'm getting it for PS3 now.
I will definitely wait for the PC release  ;)

I would almost be tempted to try it, if not for my boycott of Ubisoft.
For one thing, Tiff is not on any level what I would call a typical American.  She's not what I would consider a typical person.  I don't know any other genius geneticist anime-fan martial artist marksman model-level beauties, do you?
