Importance?

Generally speaking, each individual unconsciously (wants to) believe he/she is important (to certain people, at least), and they do things to try and maintain that "importance."

For the past few years, the question of "self-importance" has dropped in my priorities; a higher priority is that of "self-worth," something I was sorely lacking and can possibly attribute to "different" family upbringing.

To answer the question, yes, I think others think I'm important. But since being "important" was never my goal in doing whatever it is I do, I find that matter irrelevant.
