Dodged death 3 times last night

You should have ran in a zig zag pattern. Prone or switch directions every 3 seconds. Until you find cover.

he must have been smashed drunk lol or just saying "get off my lawn !", no matter how dark it is, you cant possibly miss from a sniping riffle from THAT range unintentionally :)
you weren't lucky that he missed you 3 times, you were lucky he had a good eye.
things to do when you're a snipers target:
1-duck
2-if you have a cell phone, call cops
3-DO NOT FUCKING MOVE AN INCH FROM YOUR COVER ! EVER ! the sniper always waits for you to move, and plans a set of patterns from which way you will run out so he will snipe you the second he sees you.
4-If you feel lucky or are on death's roll, write a last will testament, so when you are stupid enough to outrun a sniper ON A BRIDGE WITHOUT REAL COVER at least you will leave a will saying you were stupid enough to run,
the guy obviously wanted to scare the shit out of you, and you should have reported this to authorities, if you didn't you are more of an idiot that guy is, in any country, having a working long firearm is illegal, and punishable with at least 5 years of prison.

he is my advice on this serious experience!!
(1) give him a bigger target : don't walk alone. prefer a friend taller/bigger than you are. don't leave room for confusion!
(2) wear a wig : look like a charming women or like an old hag. snipers don't shoot women!
(3) walk slowly, very slowly : snipers don't shoot boring targets, keep the pace until out of range! (1-2 km)
(4) camouflate (verb) : that seems to be busy road. wear cloths that resemble a "tire" for instance, roll on the bridge - don't attempt to walk. "Tires roll".
(5) don't go over the bridge : go under the bridge if possible, stay out of sight!
(6) carry your own sniper rifle : prove that you are a possible friend, sharing common interest. don't point the gun at his house, ever!

you can also discourage snipers with "I'm your target" sign over your head, obvious trap is obvious :D

can you imagine if the "supposed" shooter was a baka member as well. i am only making light of the situation because i am highly dubious.
not sure how laws work in Norway; but if true- you should report it to the police.. as in a roundabout way you are an accessory to any future
endeavors your supposed killer may engage in.
