You could hijack a forums gallery system and try hotlinking from there.

There are forums like Animetake and Animesuki that let you upload pictures to your own gallery in their forum.
I was wondering if you could take advantage of that.

Dropbox works very nicely for anything, really.

Dropbox is very nice and simple to use, but free bandwidth is rather small...

imgur.com It even has the ability to make albums so you can maintain images you want to keep/delete

I do love imgur, but it resizes images over a certain size (and has been doing weird things lately).  So, I've been using SadPanda.us.

AFAIK imgur does not allow hotlinking, heck they even prevent you from seeing the image if you hit it as a link.

@zat0x91 you've gotta be kidding me.

Do you know where to check how much bandwidth you're spending? It doesn't seem like my Princess release got my account closed. Unless you were talking about storage place, of course.'

Oh, and a question, what happens if you re-format your entire harddrive with Dropbox still installed? Your files do they need to be back-upped? Or can I just install Dropbox and then it'll download my files from their server?

I saw Minus pop up on Hacker News today.  Although I'm a bit pessimistic about their lifespan, they currently are offering uploads of up to 7 MB that stay up forever.  They don't mention anything about hotlinking.

AFAIK imgur does not allow hotlinking, heck they even prevent you from seeing the image if you hit it as a link.
imgur provides ready-to-paste bbCode and HTML snippets for embedding their images.  Also,

Hotlinking to any image is fine, but just keep in mind that this is a free service, so please be nice to our servers.

bayimg.com?

100MB max file size, lots of formats supported. A bit slow sometimes though. made by the guys from a certain bay of pirates.

If formatting deletes the files and the application, it probably should leave the files untouched. It's probably best to exit the program/uninstall the program before formatting in case it decides to remove all your files.

sounds risky. can anyone confirm this? a blog rant or anything.

EDIT: tried using imgur. it works
contrib, since i don't regularly change my wallpaper.

EDIT: fixed. it's imgur's fault, they had the code in reverse, that is, the one inside the IMG is the file link and the one in the URL is the image, dumbasses.
no image, what the hell an image, what the hell...
original imgur bbcode *clicks save not expecting an image*
