anyone remember the Lost odysey case? WTF was that shit. Like 4 disks packed into a cardboard sleeve, stuffed with another disk on a regular single disk case. That was retarded
Ya, as some of you mentioned, I guess this started with some DVD cases like this. The problem with that is that DVD's are cheap. If im paying 60 friggin dollars for a game they damn well can provide a good sturdy case for it! Those alternatives Van posted dont work at all for me. I want a sturdy, green Xbox case. Like the old ones we had. There was a variety of different types of those as well, ranging from great to absolutely HORRIBLE. Anyone here ever get the shitty ones with a solid unmovable hunk of plastic in the middle? those were SHIT. I broke my tales of vesperia DVD on that! Im talking about the one on the top right of the picture a few posts down
HERE Those are the only cases i would not choose over these shitty new ones
jeeze. Im surprised at the PC comments. Are they still putting pc games in cardboard sleeves floating around in boxes? I havent bought a PC game in ages.. early 2000's i think. I really thought they would have stoped that by now. Even so, they have sorta an excuse. At least pc games dont cost 60 bucks!
honestly i really cant believe theyre just getting away with this. Where the hell can people complain? I could go over to the xbox forums and bitch but im sure that wont do anything. I gotta find a feedback email addy or something to let them know this sucks. I know it probably wont change anything but if people dont say anything at all then they'll think its fine. I really need to find the contact info for sony/ps3, since i hear the shitty company that makes these is in talks with them to do the same thing >_<
First 360, then Wii, and now probably PS3. This just flat out sucks. I will NEVER pay 60 bucks for a game in these cases. Plus, now i gotta find a good set of replacement cases for future purchases. Maybe i should buy old copies of madden on ebay and throw the disks away =P
