1) I'm pretty lazy, I was having second thoughts about using Angel Beats due to the TV Marker at the top right hand corner of the screen but decided to anyway, I don't even know what virtual dub is anyway. I'll google it and read on it in a bit, thanks for the tip, I'll do that next time if possible ;)

2) I was told that the assignment for IST in year 9 next year would require that so... I put it there :P

Well you should be using virtualdub to convert HQ fansubs (normally mkv/mp4), to lossless .avi to edit with. Unless your actually downloading raws, but fansub quality is good these days so that method is the fastest.
