Yeah, it is.

Micharus:
Well, I'm four episodes into "Kashimashi".

On the third episode, I thought about dropping it, but I've decided to watch the rest of it after seeing the fourth episode.

So far it's a little slow and there hasn't been much in the way of funny stuff happening, in fact, if it wasn't for the perverted father, who is excited in all the wrong ways about having a daughter, the mother's way of protecting the 'new' daughter from said father and the 35 year old teacher that hasn't had a boyfriend, there wouldn't be a lot of funny at all.

Having said that, it's more like a 'school life/drama' than anything else at the moment.

Even if it continues to plod along like it is right now, it is still watchable.

On another note, some of the female characters seem to be designed along the same lines as 'Nuu' from "Elfen Lied".
Maybe I'm just imagining things.

Al_Sleeper:
You are right, it has more drama than comedy.
"...from the little bit I've seen it looks like it could be quite funny in places."

Micharus:
Woo.

I had some time on my hands and decided to watch some more of "Kashimashi".

Before I knew it, I had watched the whole series.

That's basically all THIRTEEN episodes in one day folks. Note that the version on BakaBT seems to be the only one out there with the 13th episode.....

First things first though.
The subs seemed to be just a tiny bit out, timing wise that is. Not so far out that they messed things up, but just enough to be annoying at times.
Other than that, everything else was all good.

Kashimashi is a slice of life/drama/romance, with a very small bit of comedy thrown in.

The whole anime is focused on a boy named Hazumu.

Hazumu confesses to Yasuna one day, but is turned down by her. To take his mind off of his heartache, he takes a walk in the nearby mountains, where he is killed.....
by a crashing space ship.

The aliens manage to bring him back to life, but they make a mistake..... Hazumu comes back as a girl and a cute one at that.

So, now we have Hazumu as a girl and this where the drama starts.
Hazumu's friends, Tomari, Asuta and Yasuna, the girl who turned him down, all have certain...shall we say 'problems' because of the change of gender.

We discover that Yasuna has a certain problem, which is why she turned down Hazumu, but now that Hazumu is female, that problem is gone.
Tomari is annoyed that Hazumu is now a girl....and has no idea how to act like one. Tomari wears her hair in 'twin tails' and is very athletic. When she gets angry, those tails stick straight out.
Asuta is Hazumu's best friend.....but his best friend is now a girl and his hormones keep getting in the way. Hazumu IS a CUTE girl after all.

The only person who seems to have her screwed on the right way around is Ayuki, a girl who wears glasses, but she has some problems of her own.

On the comedy team is;

Namiko Sensei, she is as she says '35 and never had a boyfriend' as she puts too much effort into looking after her beloved students. Namiko always seems to be falling down holes or out of windows for different reasons.
Pretty nice looking for a 35 year old teacher, but then I'm biased.  :D

Hazumu's Father, he is very excited to have a daughter, especially one as cute as Hazumu, for all of the wrong reasons.
Hazumu's Mother, is there to stop him from getting out of control most of the time.

Soro, the head alien from the ship. He is there for research purposes. The ship, which seems to be sentient really wanted to go with him when he went down to to earth, so Soro made a body for the ship based on Hazumu's 'specifications'.
Jan Puu, the ship. Looks like Hazumu's sister, but with long pink hair and a tendency to float.

As the anime moves along, we get to see Hazumu learning to deal with being a girl and all of the little things that go along with it.
There are some funny moments as Hazumu learns what to do and more importantly, what NOT to do.

While all of this is happening, we start to notice that Yasuna and Hazumu are becoming closer and we discover Yasuna's secret.
Eventually, Hazumu and Yasuna become a couple.....sort of.

This leads to other problems and we end up with a 'love triangle', but I'm not telling who the participants are.

The anime has all of the normal things an anime normally has.
There is the overnight stay at a hotel, a trip to the beach, that has some pretty nice 'eyecandy' for the guys, the dreaded 'test of courage' and of course, a trip to a festival, but with the added twist that this anime brings to everything.

This anime starts off a little slow, but hang in there it does get better.

While it's not something everyone will enjoy, it's a pretty well made anime.
There is a lot more drama than anything else in this anime, but they don't go 'too far' with it.

The main characters, Hazumu, Tomari and Yasuna, are all easy to like, even if they are sometimes mean.

If you are looking for a good romance/drama, you will probably like this.

No idea what I'm watching next.....well, not yet any way.

Edit: for the record, I watched the [Blitz] version.

Micharus:
So, I'm 4 episodes into the anime "Ladies vs Butlers".

Talk about laugh! Every episode seems to be full of off the wall shenanigans, usually centered around our 'Hero', if that is what you want to call him.

Not to mentions ecchi of all kinds. I love the maid student who seems to be terminal klutz, the way she does what she does is amazing.

However, there is also more serious stuff happening in each episode.

I've enjoyed what I've seen so far and I just know the action and situations are going to get more absurd as this anime continues.
